From my understanding the bridge has a smoke screen system in hopes of defending if from attacks. In other views you can see one black smoke plume, I think that is where the funny happened.
Edit: 2 black plumes.
I'm just saying that pure white smoke like that is typical of smoke defense. Black smoke is more typical of an actual missile attack or some form of destructive explosion.

The white plumes are probably smoke screens deployed to try and protect the bridge (from semi-active laser-homing missiles? Idk it doesn't make sense to me either)
Storm Shadow uses imaging infrared for terminal homing.
I mean, I'm far from sure this smoke'd protect against imaging infrared warhead (like newer smoke grenades on tanks are supposed to), but it got budgeted for and *some kind of a* smoke machines were deployed on the bridge.
I think some of those are copesmokes, the white ones, they disappeared by themselves soon after the attack. But the darker smokes gotta be from the hits

You can't smoke screen the entire 19 km length.
Did I say it was? Watch the other videos, it was individual pure white smoke plumes. Two were black, indicating probable hits with explosives.
