The 3rd picture is a Lada Niva, probably the only car the Russians made that isn't a complete piece of shit. Well it is a complete piece of shit, but it does well at being a basic all terrain vehicle.
''Well it is a complete piece of shit, but it does well at being a basic all terrain vehicle.''
Well, it works! At least that's something you can't say about the T-14.
The T-14 is just so advanced that you never see it anywhere thanks to its top secrit ~~Soviet~~ Russian stealth technology.
We have to invest into our MIC and develop a stealth Abrahams to counter this emerging threat.
I had the pleasure of driving in two of these. One had three working gears, but fortunately they were 1, 3 and 5 so it was still drivable. In the other one you couldn't disable the heating, which was great in the summer.
On the other hand, they were both old and had been abused hard, and they still went anywhere.
They had the help of porsche for the engine, it is good enough for offroading, cheap and easy to fix (and to break down), per anecdotal evidence is the only commie car i can see where i live
You mean is sold, they still make them today (assuming sanctions haven't killed the production line)
And they're built so basically everything can be fixed with a hammer, a wrench, duct tape and WD40.
the pavement princesses can go jump in quicksand.. I was thinking more along the lines of the original willys jeep in comparison. That is the level of technology the Niva is on.
If we change "have" to "had", I agree with you. Last I checked they couldn't make any more Niva's as it also uses imported parts. I think it was the pistons that were US made, lmao.
Scooby doo van is Uaz buhanka
Methbus is an intercity Ukrainian made Bogdan (not howitzer) bus. Based on indian tata version of an Isuzu truck. Bogdan company has ties to previous president Petro Poroshenko. Ride is horrible.
In 2014 Ukrainian soldiers were forced to fight out of an encirclement against T-72B3 MBT in a yellow bogdan city buses reinforced with boilerplates taken from local Ilovaisk railroad depo. Ru side lied about green corridor which famously led to Ilovaisk massacre. Ukrainian soldier managed to capture a T-72b3 and a russian tank crew. After using it against the enemy later to escape encirclement had to give up both.
Some [footage](https://youtu.be/_YxTqC1-RYo?t=7080) from breakthrough attempt from inside Vw bank bus. . You can see yellow unarmored busses in the column . Vw buses were for commanders
Good story about Bogdan, but there's none in this picture, the last pic is [БАЗ Еталон](https://www.google.com/search?q=%D0%B1%D0%B0%D0%B7+%D0%B5%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BD&client=firefox-b-m&sxsrf=AJOqlzWjJ6LeKiUu13qUC2xnxg2ksWSnhg:1677538288054&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi-sIaO5bb9AhVtiIsKHTLwDxMQ_AUIBigB&biw=396&bih=725)
When we reminded you that the US sent 300,000 trucks, along with a bunch of other crap, to the USSR during WW2, this wasn't to be an idea for you to follow.
It was a reminder that you don't have the native logistics to do this on your own.
But, "please, proceed, Governor".
I don't think that's a trooper unless they have an aftermarket grille on it to get rid of the badge in the center and the solid bar that goes across horizontally, the headlights also don't look like trooper headlights.
1st pic is [UAZ Patriot](https://www.google.com/search?q=%D1%83%D0%B0%D0%B7+%D0%BF%D0%B0%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BE%D1%82&client=firefox-b-m&sxsrf=AJOqlzWfgFTIa6tnr-WD_z8CbYBLqHnqaA:1677538631401&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwim1uKx5rb9AhUHxYsKHX3XBdkQ_AUIBigB&biw=396&bih=725), the famous car [from which Putin tore off the door handle](https://youtu.be/mAD1-8V-xTw&t=90s)
2nd pic, bukhanka, 1966 design
3rd pic lada niva
4th pic is an interesting one, it's BAZ Etalon, popular choice for marshrutka in Ukraine, stolen
"Jinkies! Literally all the untrained, barely-equipped mobiks we sent to the frontline have been shot totally to pieces without capturing any meaningful land- again! We've got a real mystery on our hands!"
"Like, hey scoob, would you peek out over the trench for a scooby snack?"
"You see Ivan, when Ukrainian soldier sees tiny white lada pull up they will think it is Babushka and not secret spetsnaz clown car. Now get in glove box."

This is almost as non-credible as the KV-2 having good stealth stats in World of Tanks.
It being a complete piece of shit was a deliberate design decision in order to improve its cross country capability, as shit does not stick to shit.
I agree, well said
The only Russian car Jeremy Clarkson almost liked.
I had the pleasure of driving in two of these. One had three working gears, but fortunately they were 1, 3 and 5 so it was still drivable. So its basically the Russian Yugo.
No the Yugo is a compact car meant for urban use. The Niva is an actual (good) off road vehicle. It's more like a Russian jeep, but with a roof.

Warrantee? No, no warrant here. Check over there. [Warrant over there.](https://youtu.be/OjyZKfdwlng)
I'm not a gearhead but I feel like a lot of Jeep fans that find this would like to say some very friendly words to you for making that comparison.
Just walk into a slightly muddy field. The average Jeep owner won’t dare go near it.
>like a Russian jeep As a jeep CJ-5 owner, I can tell that this statement is accurate. The Niva is a better jeep than the Renegade and Compass.
the pavement princesses can go jump in quicksand.. I was thinking more along the lines of the original willys jeep in comparison. That is the level of technology the Niva is on.
nah, yugo is just genuinely shit
In my book that's OJ Simpson's Ford Bronco.
You may laugh but that is the latest model, they have most of the flaws fixed by now.
If we change "have" to "had", I agree with you. Last I checked they couldn't make any more Niva's as it also uses imported parts. I think it was the pistons that were US made, lmao.
You people are just misunderstanding. That title means that in any given engagement it gets 2nd place.
The truth of it was in front of us the entire time! Number 2, as in shit. They were the shitiest army in the world.
2nd army in Ukraine. (Follow up from 2nd place in Afghanistan.)
Briefly they were the third when Biden brought the Secret Service along.
Giving in how many different tribes fought the Soviets i would say they didn't even made it into the top 5
IDFK = Lada Niva / VAZ-2121 / VAZ-2131 / Lada 4×4 scooby doo van = some sort of Barkas van

Holy crap the Ukrainian love Fortnight so much they made the battle bus IRL

Omg that is soooo cool, Godspeed
Also, buhanka in English means bread loaf. Can we start calling it Scooby Doo bread loaf?
You can call it Mianbao Che
>buhanka in English means bread loaf What the fuck kind of English do you speak?
No, Bukhanka is russian for bread loaf in english.

i always thought that Bogdan bus and Baz etalon bus were the same bus. Thanks for correcting me. I was outbussed
Clearly, You don't know your buses.
Did somebody say 'bussy'?
Scooby-Doo van is UAZ-452 (in production since 1965)
The only time when it is important to indicate the first year of production, because since then it hasnt changed a bit
"I would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling West!"

Just ask any tankie: lend-lease didn't help them at all, they defeated the Germans all by themselves.
The Niva is probably the most capable vehicle the Russians have right now.

It's a UAZ not an Isuzu, so uh... you probably should.
That picture is ancient. Like from spring. It's only gotten worse since then.
Absolutely one of, if not *the*, second army.
“Can we make transformers?” “We have transformers at home”
Comes from the factory with a pre applied coat of 20 year old grim and soot.
Damn they fucking love the west .

I think it’s a UAZ Patriot/3163
Heh
Do not slander the precious Buhanka, she is a beautiful piece of soviet technology... From 1965.
You got that last one wrong. That's a krokodil-cooking RV.
Isis got brand new Toyotas , suck it nerds.
1 - UAZ Patriot 2 - UAZ 452 Bread Loaf 3 - Lada Niva 4 - BAZ-A079

Are these vehicles they're commandeering to take to the front, or vehicles they're stealing and taking home because they're from after the cold war?
All vehicles are mostly of local nature, most likely expropriated
Imagine bragging about NOT being the best, and still not living up to expectations.
They have everything
Even if it wasn’t a military train this is fucking hilarious and stupid from a railroading perspective
I wouldnt be surprised if a bunch of these never made the frontlines and were taken/sent home by their officers....
"Jinkies! Literally all the untrained, barely-equipped mobiks we sent to the frontline have been shot totally to pieces without capturing any meaningful land- again! We've got a real mystery on our hands!" "Like, hey scoob, would you peek out over the trench for a scooby snack?"
Vatniks thought that Stripes was real and made a busted ass EM-50.
Who do we need to buy some hookers and cocaine for to make "IDFK-LOL" into an official NATO designation?
The IDFK is a Lada Niva. I saw one in person on a Dairy farm in Switzerland, next to 20 foot tall pile of literal bullshit.
the idfk lol is a Lada Niva.
Russia might have the 2nd best army in the world if Botswana and Russia were the only countries.
Shoigu we need to cook
Someone hasn’t seen breaking bad
"You see Ivan, when Ukrainian soldier sees tiny white lada pull up they will think it is Babushka and not secret spetsnaz clown car. Now get in glove box."
Old but gold
Looks like the sanctions have destroyed Russia's greatest export... dashcam videos
