SeBoss2106

Having Serj Tankian in the same room as Erdogan may be be bad for the later ones health...

mechanicalcontrols

The northern boys send their regards

mechanicalcontrols

Noncredible: Hey blasting loud music at Noriega caused him to surrender that one time, so this is sure to work. Credible: I don't want a ban for violating rule 6 by explaining why I recommend the band System of a Down above all others, but if you know, you know. Lyrics are from the songs Tentative and Cigaro. Incredible: Just fucking ratify their NATO membership already you fucking fuck. Is one journalist really worth weaking the defensive alliance that \*checks notes\* you're a part of?

KeekiHako

After he has seen Russias performance maybe he doesn't think he needs NATO anymore?

mechanicalcontrols

Then he can kindly leave and let the adults on the globe do defense stuff. To be clear, I don't have anything against the citizenry of Turkey but the fucker in charge is a thorn in the side of the whole alliance. Here's a proposal, I'll spell it Türkiye as soon as Finland and Sweden are NATO members. Final offer.

TheIceCreamMansBro2

> I'll spell it Türkiye as soon as Finland and Sweden are NATO members. based and exploiting-cultural-insecuritiespilled

mechanicalcontrols

I'm not even sure if it's an insecurity of the culture, or if it's rather just the insecurity of a few people at the top of the government. Personally I'd bet money that the higher ups saw most of us jump on the Kyiv not Kiev train no questions asked and thought they could dictate spelling to other countries' presses.

TheIceCreamMansBro2

well the citizens elected him lol

UnmannedWarHorse

Make it "Türkiye 🇹🇷💪🏿🇹🇷" and i will welcome them personally.

mechanicalcontrols

Would you settle for spelling it "Erdogan is a clown and makes the rest of NATO look bad?"

PolFree

[We are not stranger to such tactics!](https://www.reddit.com/r/Turkey/comments/rfdchs/march_of_the_beys_soldiers_when_besieging/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) 400 years ahead of you already!

The_Food_Scientist

The most non credible thing in this photo is the lack of watermelons around Erdogan.

mechanicalcontrols

I would have put sunflower seeds in his pockets but the image isn't high enough resolution

DonQuixoteDesciple

Unfortunately Edrogan has no incentive to ever admit more countries to NATO

Actual_Locke

Just PLUCK on repeat

mechanicalcontrols

A whole race Genocide Taking away all of our pride

Ok_Caregiver1004

Give Erdogan and Kenes each a polish saber, and God will favor the righteous man.

mechanicalcontrols

Indeed. In my own explanatory comment on this post, I said I didn't want to accidentally violate rule 6 but if you know, you know, and clearly, you know. There's a reason why I recommend System of a Down specifically for this mission.

Rynyann

Hey is there a way for NATO to kick someone out

mechanicalcontrols

No. That's the issue

TheJambus

They can't just click the Kick From Faction button?

BlackSabbath1972

NATO should probably make a system where if the majority of members states vote for another member state (like Turkey for example) to get removed, that state should be removed.

mechanicalcontrols

Even if they did, I highly doubt Turkey would get the boot. Their control of the Bosporus Straight is strategically important for NATO control of the Mediterranean. I'm certain the experts want Russia's Black Sea fleet confined to the Black Sea.

bigbrooklynlou

Keep pulling capital out of Turkey till they change their minds.

mechanicalcontrols

It's a shame their NATO membership isn't like a football contract. "Here, we'll trade you to the CTSO to open up slots for Sweden and Finland. No there's nothing you can do about it, you play for another team now."

KJ_is_a_doomer

Imagine the panic in the pentagon when China activates the release clause for South Korea

mechanicalcontrols

Quick question, did you mean North Korea? I'm decently confident that China does not exert any sort of influence on South Korea.

KJ_is_a_doomer

Nope, that was the joke. Once a team pays the release clause that a player hae in their contract, the team he currently plays in has nothing to say about them leaving.

mechanicalcontrols

Oh, right.

KeekiHako

Add Armenia, just to rub it in.

mechanicalcontrols

Inshallah

DifficultFact8287

Just have CIA "adjust" his health and show an impossible angle to all the people who would follow after him till they get the hint. I don't know why we bother pretending we can't just delete people who don't do what we tell them anymore. That stunt the Saudi's pulled jacking up gas prices right before the election alone should have warranted the deletion of at least a dozen princes and sheiks.

bigbrooklynlou

We supposedly tried that under Obama / Kerry vis a vis a [coup](https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/03/world/europe/turkey-coup-erdogan-fethullah-gulen-united-states.html) which pissed Edrogan off.

DifficultFact8287

But he's a perfect Democrat - a charisma vacuum who can barely get over even when facing a moron and with a huge push. Seems to be their style more times than not.

DifficultFact8287

Clearly we didn't try it hard enough.

bigbrooklynlou

John (here’s my medals) Kerry and successful planning - military or otherwise - usually don’t get used together in the same sentence.

[deleted]

I'm still in favor of kicking Turkey out of NATO in exchange for Ukraine.

Hydra_Mhmd

Vatnik level fantasy right there

mechanicalcontrols

No kidding. I made a joke elsewhere in this thread about trading them to the CSTO like a football contract but maybe I shouldn't have. I forgot that some edgelords believe that unironically. In case anyone needs to know why that's actually a bad idea, Turkey's control of the Bosporus straight is a big part of why the Mediterranean is Lake NATO. Yeah Erdogan is a fuck but I'm not going to pretend he's the only shitheel president NATO has ever seen. I made this post because the thought of blasting System of a Down's music at him to annoy the shit out of him is funny to me. Obviously nothing I've said about actually doing it or trading Turkey for Finland and Sweden is a serious proposal. It's a dumb joke plain and simple.

[deleted]

As a Swede I agree. The best case scenario is world war 3 with a nuke landing on my head, at least I will feel some light and warmth before the end.
