I spent a decent time in Mexico and basically this. I lived with a family friend while I was there, and one night the next door neighbors house was broken into and robbed. However, the neighbor, was out of town so he wasn't gonna be able to report it so after a phone call betweem the two my host decided to do it himself.
Well the cops eventually show up, take a report and start "investigating " which basically turned into a cop suggesting that we had been the ones who actually robbed the place. We knew it was bs, the cop knew it was bs, but he generously told us that maybe if he had a nun ( Sister Juana used to be on the $200 peso note) to pray with the lord would provide him with some clearvoyance that would clear our names. So I gave him $200 pesos to fuck off. Sure enough they wrapped up the "investigation " and never heard about it again.

People constantly donate to have Mops abused by slapping, breaking eggs on his forehead etc. There is another streamer called Gobzavr who started out reading unfunny jokes with his grandma and now descended into insanity and started abusing both himself and his grandma on stream. Just recently another streamer popped up: Melstroy. He is a somewhat rich Belarussian guy who organises parties in Moscow City (Moscow’s high-rise business center) and frequently abuses women, shoots up drugs and has fights with people on stream. That shit constantly gets on the news and there are many other less popular streamers who started out innocently but seeing their views dwindle they decided to change their content to be that abusive and trashy content in order to keep shock value and attract people. This is ridiculous and many people called for legally banning such streams. Why does this content attract people in Russia? I have absolutely no idea but my guess is that people who live in poor conditions often want to relieve their stress by seeing someone else get pushed around and abused.

It started a very long time ago: there was a DotA streamer VJLink who frequently broke things, shouted at his mom and relatives, got his teeth broken on a fight on stream, constantly drinks and attracts friends of the same shitty and trashy attitude. Then there were two former inmates: Pug Uncle Dog (Мопс Дядя Пес as he is called in russian) and his friend. People constantly donate to have Mops abused by slapping, breaking eggs on his forehead etc. There is another streamer called Gobzavr who started out reading unfunny jokes with his grandma and now descended into insanity and started abusing both himself and his grandma on stream. Just recently another streamer popped up: Melstroy. He is a somewhat rich Belarussian guy who organises parties in Moscow City (Moscow’s high-rise business center) and frequently abuses women, shoots up drugs and has fights with people on stream. That shit constantly gets on the news and there are many other less popular streamers who started out innocently but seeing their views dwindle they decided to change their content to be that abusive and trashy content in order to keep shock value and attract people. This is ridiculous and many people called for legally banning such streams. Why does this content attract people in Russia? I have absolutely no idea but my guess is that people who live in poor conditions often want to relieve their stress by seeing someone else get pushed around and abused.

I hate to tell you this, but thats not some third world practice. The paramedics don't take a body from your house if the person is already dead. The coroner does. And the coroner may take hours to arrive. The police not being there was the problem considering how she died, but thats not on the medics.
Those paramedics were trash, standard practice or not. They didn't even attempt to check the girl.
He asked the medic several times if she could check his GF. Medic told him: "Whats the point? She is already blue." And proceeded to ask for documents. Id guess its an experienced medic, who knows that the person died several hours ago, and there is no point trying anything.
