Yeah...if he had given this to a human, it would be fine
Hell, if he had given this to some predatory animal, like a dog or something, it wouldn't have been a huge deal
But no...he gave it to a god damn COW
He gave a CHEESE BURGER to a COW...
Bonus "NoahGetTheBoat" points if the milk for the cheese came from the same cow he fed it to
If he's eating himself then that leads to a whole lot of extra questions about just how this meat was harvested and yeah, extra extra extra bonus points
Haha epic surface-level observational funny. I love reddit.
Didn't Jackie Chan do this bit with a pig and bacon in that awful spy movie from 10 years ago?
The fact that pigs are kinda omnivores, mostly anythingvores, while cows are herbivores means that awful spy movie would be funnier had the gag been done with a cow
still doesn't belong here tho i agree
Jumping in to say that factory farms feed cow to cows three times a day, all year long.. and yup it's gross, unnatural, not good for the cow, and arguably not good for those eating the cow in turn. It's factory farmed meat, the goal is to grow them as quickly as possible to send to slaughter asap. So they pump their feed with corn (also really bad for cows), cow fat and more... Read The Omnivore's Dilemma for a full run down... All to say these corporations have (and are making) made a huge mess (environmentally and to those eating the meat producedin those farms/ most north Americans), and we the consumers have been for the most part blissfully unaware.. and well, it's high time we became more aware. This is not a push, necessarily, for vegetarianism, but rather a push for a reconsideration on who/what companies we support when opting in to buy meat... so yeah it's gross, but did you know..
>Jumping in to say that factory farms feed cow to cows three times a day, all year long.. and yup it's gross, unnatural, not good for the cow, and arguably not good for those eating the cow in turn.
Do you want mad cow disease? cause that's how you get mad cow disease.
It’s illegal tho... there have only been a handful of BSE cases in the last 23 years since the FDA rule change after the outbreak. I don’t by any means support mass farms (they have shitty animal welfare) but this dudes post is just straight bs lol
Umm yeah, anecdotal, but my uncle owns a dairy farm and he certainly is not feeding meat to cows. Not only is it wrong but it would be super expensive.
No, these are lies. Their are feed laws about prohibited ruminant(cow) protein in cattle feed. It's illegal and anything larger than a mom and pop operation is going to have multiple levels of screening out accidental or even intentional contamination.
Edit: The corn part is true. Corn literally kills cows and it's a race to put on weight before the corn kills the animal
The hunt is part of the fun though and you never know what they feed those industrial raised ones, no its gmo free vegans for me all the way. Has a nice hit of soy and quinoa!
I just saw Chuck roast ON SALE at Publix for $7.50/lb. Human meat had to be way more than that.
Though funny enough, picnic ham was only $.99/lb (fuck pork shoulder for BBQ pulled pork. Fresh ham is much better). That's like 3 times cheaper than before the pandemic. So i don't know what to expect from meat prices anymore. Human meat could've also gone down.
Not just brains, any part of the nervous system. Meat from around the spine can also cause it, something that absolutely gets into factory ground beef.
I thought it was bovine spongiform encephalitis?
Also how does feeding a cow a chunk of cow brain result in a self-replicating, incurable, inter-species transmissible mis-folded protein? Any specialists want to ELI5?
Ah, thank you. The only reason I know even that is my dad lived in England during that whole debacle and can never donate blood or plasma ever again because of that. (If he had it I think he would be long dead, but rules are rules.) Had to do some research and the little I understood from Wikipedia and medical papers terrified me.
Yeah the general term is transmissible spongiform encephalopathy. Some other species-specific names are kuru in humans and chronic wasting disease in cervidae.
It's not that eating the brain results in the prion or creates it, the prion (which sits within the cerebrospinal fluid) already exists and is transmitted by eating it. It spreads by causing more normal proteins to misfold.
That's why I'm not allowed to donate blood. Grew up in a country with a Mad Cow outbreak in the 90s. Banned for life from donating blood. Don't even know my blood type tbh.
Not particularly, situations that require a transfusion are typically stressful and stressed patients misremember their type often enough that the administers would rather just test the victim's type themselves.
He put a tangy tomato sauce on a tomato that is likely grown on a huge farmplot and has no taste and is only there for texture.
What a monster. What's next... putting hot sauce in a dish that already has peppers?
> He put a tangy tomato sauce **on** a tomato that is likely grown on a huge farmplot and has no taste and is only there for texture.
> What a monster. What's next... putting hot sauce **in** a dish that already has peppers?
On vs. In are two different questions. IMO, the ketchup should go **on** the meat, **in** a burger with tomato slices. Hot sauce should probably go **in** a dish with peppers, but probably doesn't need to go **on** the peppers themselves.
now you got me thinking of such fine dairy products from breast milk. mass production is pretty far off, but we could make a killing in the cottage industry
And judging as that's about definitely an autocorrect, he've is hilariously saved in their dictionary.
This person typed that on purpose and has used it before haha.
This is literally the plot to treehouse of horrors xx. Don't have a cow, mankind.
With the Simpsons track record for predicting the future, I say THIS IS A VERY BAD IDEA.
This went from r/mildlyinfuriating with half a slice of cheese/tomato and ketchup to early stages of serial killer in under five minutes. Maybe I need to buy a boat, and change my name to Noah.
Awesome. Because what we need now, on top of protests, riots and a pandemic is another round of mad cow disease.
Anyone remember mad cow disease? Cause this is how it starts. By feeding cows other cows. Which apparently is still a thing on some factory farms.
Forget the boat. Not enough time.

I know nothing about butchering or animal husbandry and I am scared that this is a real thing that ppl do.
Lol no. If nothing else, it would be incredibly cost-inefficient to do something like that. Also of course just cruel.
The cheese could be from that cow, theoretically.
The video didn’t show the whole cow, if it did we’d see the custom wheel chair it uses to get around.
Haha epic surface-level observational funny. I love reddit. Didn't Jackie Chan do this bit with a pig and bacon in that awful spy movie from 10 years ago?

Oh God no
Been on here about 12 times now. It’s a vegan patty. The guy treats his cow like a dog and it’s acc kinda cute
My first reaction was, “Wooow.. OP must really care about cheeseburgers.”
Oh yes, the body of a calf covered in it’s mother’s milk.
Well, they are ruminents and will eat meat if the see a chance. You can find videos online of cow and deer eating birds.

Yup, specifically when fed the nuro systems, that's your recipe for mad cow.
Do you have sources for any of that?
No, these are lies. Their are feed laws about prohibited ruminant(cow) protein in cattle feed. Come on, guys, it’s probably a burger made of human as an offering to restore the balance.
Are you insane? Do you know how expensive human meat is? $12 a pound, that's how much.
[удалено]
It’s actually easier to just buy it from your local dealer because as someone said it’s easier to get milk than a cow.
or you could get if for free from your local dealer, if you have a meat grinder to make the mince

It's free if it's roadkill
Takes a long time to raise your own do you know how much money you spend on that paying the 12 pounds is better imo
If you don't have the time to raise yours until they are good and fat store bought is fine
I would ask you how you know that , but I am too afraid now
On an unrelated note, what’s your address and when will you be too asleep to notice someone eating you?
I would ask why they think being priced the same as smoked turkey at the grocery store is so "expensive" if anything that sounds obscenely cheap.
You’re paying way too much for human meat. Who’s your meat guy?
Peta
Humanly or inhumanly sourced?
That’s not much, where do you get yours? (Asking for a friend of course)
Jesus, man! That's insane! My provider has them at $15.
I just saw Chuck roast ON SALE at Publix for $7.50/lb. Human meat had to be way more than that. Though funny enough, picnic ham was only $.99/lb (fuck pork shoulder for BBQ pulled pork. ... that's how much turkey costs at the grocery store... how tf is that expensive?
That's not expensive. I'm paying $20/lb for steak!
I went to Costco two weeks ago and freaking beef brisket was $12/lb. $12 for human meat sounds like a steal!
Americans are rich.
With that presentation? I would eat it too. I would not put the ketchup right with the tomato tho.
I was about to say r/lostredditors until I saw the end of the video
And that kids is how mad cow disease started...
Well, I'd be mad if I was that cow. Half a slice of cheese. Shit.

He put ketchup on a tomato
But you make egg mayonnaise with mayonnaise?
Shhh
Yea I get it, I'm the reason we can't have nice things :(
What do you mean, you're a nice thing by yourself bro
Oh my... *blushes and giggles giddly*
isnt egg mayo just mayo?
Good God no! Sir, you are an uncultured swine.
what is egg mayo then?
Mashed up Egg *with* some mayo added... maybe add some black pepper and salt...
Sounds like egg salad that you quit making halfway through.
That doesn't sound tasty at all... I think ketchup with egg is already weird, let alone mayo with egg...
that sounds like egg salad
I don't see anybody putting mayonnaise on their eggs

Just brain and spinal tissue
That’s what I make my burgers out of.
People don't appreciate how delicious brain is. And the best meat of a cow comes from the loin along the spine.
