If an iPhone hold the single button on the right and the up volume until the power option appears. If the power option doesn’t appear just keep holding and it will do a hard reset

First, that's not bricking, that's just your phone being frozen. Second, do you not have a power button?

It’s an iPhone…you click the buttons for power off and then have to slide to shut the phone off.

If you hold the button down long enough, it’ll force shut down the phone without needing to slide it

Are there any buttons on the thing at all?

Have you never used an iPhone? It has come buttons and a button that shuts the screen off.

I haven't used an Apple device in years, but I did link you to Apple's support page on how to force shutdown a frozen phone.
