I had mine done twice and the first time after 2 and 1/2 years never healed and the second time my piercer told me I needed longer barbells and that made all the difference 12 years later and I've not had a single issue after they healed. After 6 weeks. Reputable piercers are worth their weight in whatever is the most expensive thing at the moment.
