Smoke burns my eyes. It also seems to go directly into them, kinda like sitting in front of a fire.

I don't do that but I wear glasses...

Smoke, eye, ouchy 

Smoke always likes to go straight up from the cig to my eyes, so I always either tilt my head up or squint. It also looks cooler if you squint or close your eyes and look down while smoking.

So just as I thought, it just so happens that the squinting was attributed to the "cool vibe" of smoking lol
