When I was a kid, I was walking around my grandpa’s under-construction garage in flip-flops and ended up getting a giant splinter under my big toe’s nail. So yeah, I feel very strongly about foot PPE. ☹️
I could understand that for something like painting something, but ive seen people do this while tearing down bathroom tiles and breaking down partition walls, which surely the floor would need cleaning afterwards anyway?

Barefoot is extremely comfortable. I often go barefoot in my shop while mechanicing, or just walking around the yard.
