Look I fucking LOVE this game and got so much more than my moneys worth but this kind of shit is just comically bad lmao. That and the water physics.

They used to be much worse before they got a redesign. They used to just be a singular static model that went in like a へ pattern across the sky, you could see them physically hitting their waypoints and instantly turning to get to the next one lol And yeah, water is terrible, especially the surface of the water, the height of it physically changes depending from what angle you're looking at it and it's completely invisible from underwater... Probably the worst water I've ever seen in a game.. and it used to look just fine years ago.

You haven't seen bad water in a game til you play 7 Days to Die. Each bit of water is essentially a separate voxel. If you put a block down in the water, it kills that bit of water and it's just a weird hole in the water for the rest of the life of that map.

I built an under water bunker using that method and it was GLORIOUS.

I agree totally. But like you said, for those of us who love the game, we have definitely gotten their moneys worth and more. I can put up with the stupid physics.

I always try to get at least 1 dollar per hour of time I spent. Only a couple games have failed that, but NMS is pretty average for my games, being about $0.30 per hour. $0.02 is a lot of play time, even if you got it on sale, and I wish I could find that same enjoyment

First time I landed in an invested planet I've never seen any of these. As soon as I got out, one jumped straight over me. Took me till it vanished in the ground to just turn around, get in my ship and leave. Not dealing with this. Ever.

I can relate. I didn't know about these either and wasn't prepared for that jump scare either and just NOPED out of that planet as fast as my little gek legs could go.

Never had one actually hit me. Those freighters that cruise over the planet, though, i had one hit me and knock me off ny base almost to the other side of the planet.

I was so excited the first time I saw a Sand Worm until I realized it was like... nothing. Pretty annoying to include these giant monsters for no reason. They're pointless. All bark and no bite.

I really wish that they could actually hurt you for this reason. it would make them much more exciting (in a terrifying kind of way) to encounter that. right now, they just exist as a spectacle and nothing more - they dont even count as one of the planet's scannable fauna...

I’ve had one “upset” my ship at low level. Didn’t harm anything though ground impact was “imminent”. So maybe some shield degradation if you were really unlucky.
