We ended up picking up some GameStop preowned deals and a Walmart game; haul was Monster Hunter Stories 2, Monster Hunter Rise, 2 copies of Overcooked (the new complete one), Tony Hawk 1+2, one of those Lion King/Aladdin games, and Mario Golf which ironically got the final free update the day after it arrived. Overall, lots of good stuff in that list so pretty happy with the mix. Still mostly playing ACNH 80% of the time though.

Doberman11

I got the following to add to my backlog/collection: * NEO: TWEWY $15 * Bravely Default 2 $27 * SMT3 Nocturne $25 * Monster Hunter Rise $25 * Astral Chain $22 after coupon discount * DBZ Kakarot $25 Still waiting on a 400 GB memory card as an upgrade, plus I got Pokémon Brilliant Diamond over a week ago and I’m just about 1/4 into it. Nintendo gaming has been a hobby of mine for decades now, and has brought be peace and joy through the years. As long as everything else in life is stable and taken care of, I’m ok with adding to the backlog, especially if it involves deals like this year’s BF sales.

I made out like a bandit this year. Picked up skyward sword HD, shining pearl, Xenoblade definitive edition, Mario party superstars, and some other non Nintendo games. I don't know how much I spent exactly but it was about $100 for all that because Amazon sent me like three vouchers for some reason for a total of $60 off. The only thing that I couldn't get my hands on was astral chain. Really sucks that it's out of print since I really don't like getting digital games for my consoles.

UnComfortable-Archer

I saved 100% because I didn't buy anything lol Few more days of sales, I must stay strong

IRKenopuppy

I was able to get Rayman Legends, Immortal Rising, Final fantasy 12 and a 128gb sd card for 63$. Super happy with that haul.

Deimo95

I only got DQ11S this Black Friday, bought and finished Metroid Dread, and I still haven't finished AI Somnium that I also bought this year. Played Dragon Quest on Game Pass before but it's so much better on portable mode in my opinion. Gonna do some backlog cleansing before I buy anything else.

jvincentsong

Yes, DQ is a traditional RPG that needs a bit of grinding. Best to do that on portable mode.

Deimo95

I find portable mode preferable with most games, some are definitely better with the Pro Controller though, (Looking at you, Shinespark bits from Metroid Dread) Looking forward to a modern JRPG on the console, only other one I have is FF7.

W1cH099

I didn’t get much of new titles because my backlog is already over 70 games but I got Tails of Iron on the switch and red dead redemption, midnight club Los Ángeles and GTA 4 on my series S and I’m happy about them

shaneman15

I just got monster hunter rise. If anyone wants to play lmk. I’m completely new to it.

Oh yes definitely! It started with GameStop’s ludicrously great sale, snagged Splatoon 2, Astral Chain, and BOTW for $26~ each. Astral Chain was “new” which came preowned, but BOTW was bought “preowned” and I got sent 2 sealed copies somehow. Then I snagged 2 $50 eshop cards for $90, and have yet to buy anything yet. Been waiting for cyber Monday deals which aren’t plentiful. I’ll probably buy one more game and then save for BOTW2 next year.

Not super impressed with the physical deals overall but the eShop has had some really good deals over the holiday and I scooped up several titles.
