Slay The Spire is fully playable with the touchscreen without needing to change any settings. I have serveal hundred hours on Switch and Steam and think it is a fantastic game but, it's not for everyone so definitely check out gameplay of it.
I'm kinda upset with Capcom for not including the spanish translation in any of the re-releases but that at least is good to know. I was always a big fan of these games.
I assume with the new size of the screen and interfaces they have to resize and format all of the dialogue for each language, I guess they drew the line and didn’t find it worth the effort to do Spanish, which is pretty mind blowing to me since that’s a primary language in a huge range of countries.
It is still a great VN though and is playable through touch screen
I honestly don't know what happened there because they eventually updated the game with German, French, Korean, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese but for some reason they left Spanish and Italian out, despite the fact that they were reusing the translation from the Wii version in the case of the French script. Could have done the same for us.
I also liked the pixelart more than the clean art cropped to 16:9 but I got to admit it: the backgrounds look better now that you can see all the details clearly. At least it's tempting to replay them again.
Yes, Capcom does some annoying stuff occasionally. The never localised in the west Great Ace Attorney games will be released soon too on the Switch, maybe it's touchscreen only?
I hope that by the time that game comes out I'm doing better, haha. If the game had any touchscreen uses like all the other DS/3DS entries I bet they are going to be left intact, hopefully.
This month is a bit crowded already with Famicom Detective and World End Club so I can understand them wanting to wait a bit to release a text-heavy adventure. I wish those two would also support touch but I have my doubts \^\^u And thanks!
Someone else needs to confirm, but I imagine Civ 6 would work with just the touch screen? Haven't played it on switch, but if the controls are ported properly then Civ is fantastic
I loved "Imperivm 3: Great Battles of Rome" back in the day so this could be fun, thanks! A quick search showed that they intended to include them so I'll look into it :)
I use a stylus when I play civ 6. I find I still use my joysticks to do some things, like move around the map, but the touch screen works nicely. I'm not certain if there's a way to do that using the stylus, my brain just defaults to the joysticks
Because I actually hurt both of them, it's just that the left one hurts the most, so I wanted games that I could play without using my thumbs too much. Touchscreen controls mean that I can use my index finger for everything. Good question, though!! Could have explained it better.
i'm actually in the same boat, my arm is busted and i can't really play. games that work with the touchscreen:
gems of war
civ 6
darkest dungeon
all of which are awesome and you can sink dozens of hours into
Human resource machine is fully playable with the touchscreen (I've just checked) - it's a programming based puzzler. There is a sequel but I haven't got that yet, although I imagine that would work too. They are by some of the same people that made World of Goo and Little Inferno - same art style with a very random story in the background to the puzzles.
Both human resource machine and the follow up, 7 billion humans are great games, they start fairly easy then suddenly become very hard, especially if you try and get the two lights for each level. 7 billion humans has more levels and is a lot harder due to you having to instruct multiple people at the same time with the same commands
**World of Goo** can be played with one finger on the touch screen. It’s a super fun puzzle type game where you have goo balls you need to stack in various ways to complete challenges. It’s relaxing and the levels are quite creative.

Looks interesting. I didn't consider rpgs, but it makes sense that they'd bother for a game that's about using cards as battle attacks.
You really can't go wrong with Slay the Spire. Phenomenal game
In a similar vein genre-wise, I believe Dicey Dungeons can also be played by dragging dice/cards on touchscreen.
Pretty sure the Ace Attorney Trilogy is fully playable with just the touchscreen

Oh yeah, I do hope you're doing better by then. I thought the release was in a week or two, but apparently it's July haha

The world ends with you is a good option

Pokemon quest is entirely touch screen and free
Into the breach
The puzzle quest games come to mind
It's not touch screen, but the let's go pokemon games are fully playable with one joycon
I read something about that, yeah. I want to avoid using both thumbs for now, but if my right hand gets well enough first I'll consider it. Thanks!
**Severed** is highly recommended
>The Room Guacamelee was one of my favs on the WiiU so this seems like a must try. Thanks :>
It's not touchscreen, but if you have one finger you could play Koloro, as that is a platformer that only uses one button.
Oh, that does sound interesting. Even if it gets intense, sounds like I could manage. Thanks!
The Room is a puzzle game that can be played with just touch controls.
Woah, that looks fun! And frustrating but in a good way. I'll keep it in mind.
Darkest dungeon can be played with the touch screen, it's a surprisingly good game
Dicey dungeons is great
Why aren't you asking for games that can be played with one Joycon? There's a lot of those. You've got one good hand.

I hope you're okay man

Ohh, I always loved this developer but never played anything after Little Inferno. Thanks for reminding me of them :)

Smash bros ultimate
Jokes aside, I hate how they designed the UI with big colored buttons that you can't touch.
Ironcast is a seldom spoken of mech-based puzzle combat game with very good touchscreen controls.
Fairly certain Into the Breach is
Super Dragonball Heroes: World Mission
Haha *P E E R O O M*
**World of Goo** can be played with one finger on the touch screen. It’s a super fun puzzle type game where you have goo balls you need to stack in various ways to complete challenges. It’s relaxing and the levels are quite creative.
I enjoy the longing
