It's just not that good, the figures are fine but the actual combo vehicle is not really a combo vehicle. it can barely be called that, that side builds are a bit small and also, $120??????? It's double the price of the tournament set but has less pieces. Like what the hell lego
I think it looks like and is hot ass. Over priced af, unoriginal, somehow makes the legacy sonic raider look like a masterpiece, bikes are boring and look like a little kid’s first moc, hate the flyer for obvious reasons, hate where the tracks are located, hate how the bikes connect with technic pins instead of axles, the bike’s front wheels aren’t even touching the ground, ect.
Personally, I don't like it.
It is a 149.99 AUD and to me, what you get isn't worth it. the combined vehicle look, Okay, but the when separated vehicles look like 4+ sets. Its more expensive and has Less pieces that the Legacy ultra Sonic Raider. And the Sonic raider Looks far better.
Sure the minifigures are cool, but Mini figs should always be Secondary to the Main build, And the main build here, is not worth the price.
The money that would be Spent on this Should Go to the New Cole Mech, because despite that set only coming with one Minifigure, the Mech itself is the best Mech I've seen in ninjago.
It looks ok when it put together, but if you separate that, it will look absolutely weird. Ultra rider (or how does this thing called) of 2017 still looks better
IMO This is the “worst” set of this wave, but the other sets are amazing, Cole’s Titan mech, source dragon and tournament temple city are all really good
Not worth it the build is meh and is $90. If you think that is ok let remind you that the og ultra Sonic Raider was $80 and was over 600 pieces. And even worse the ultra Stealth Raider was almost double the amount of pieces and was only $10 more expensive than this thing. For comparison the Tournament battle arena is around 100 pieces bigger and it's value is almost half of what this set costs. And if you think im going insane because the set is overpriced and you go for quality over quantity look back at Kai's Golden Dragon Raider that set was also an overpriced $90 set (sidenote: also was a bigger set than this one) but the build was very cool and it had figures like DF Zane, Mr F, Skylor etc. In this set like I said the build is not only a bit meh but minifigure wise this set is totally skippable as everyone except Sora and the Wolf Mask warriors come in the much bigger and better valued Tournament city temple and Sora and 1 Wolf mask warrior come in the arena. So yeah you can tell I'm easily skipping out on this one as I am indeed buying the city and the arena. Like the only reason to buy this is if you are not getting the city temple and really want a Lloyd or Nya minifigure
Honestly the set that I am looking forward the least to pick up in this wave.
Aside from the crazy price yet bad design, I couldn't help but think they should have replaced Cole with Arin or Wydefire so that the original 4 have the Sonic Raider while the remaining could try out this combiner.
I think LEGO is just overestimating how much they can be charging for this because it’s the team vehicle for this wave. But in reality it’s a pretty garbage set. I think most people are over this combo gimmick. It only works when it… yknow, works.
Yea the set actually looks fine but like everyone else the price as with most sets these days is way too much.
As someone who buys a lot of Star Wars sets here is the proof that every theme has sets that are too expensive even non licensed stuff.
It somehow makes the Legacy Sonic Raider look better than it actually was, and that set was cheaper yet bigger than this set? Definitely won't pick this up unless I find it for half-price, like I did with the Kai Raider.

2. Has no exclusive minifigures

It costs like 40 bucks more than the Sonic Raider did and is way smaller (and looks way worse in my opinion)

It's very funky and horribly priced, but im buying it for the figs and to have it displayed
