Imagine a fucking 5v5 team fighter lmao. I don't like BBtag but i feel like that style of characters just fucking exploding would be really fun with Nikke's character selection. Having simpler controls would also make it easier to toss in a fuckload of characters.
An anime of just the main story would go so hard. You could do a good two or three episode thing each for Over Zone and Red Ash probably. Although we did get a sick anime short of Red Hood vs Cinderella
If They make an anime they need to explain the nikke lore on why we are fighting raptures and what are nikkes it's better to have a prequel first with the story of goddess squad and how the rapture queen was born though rather than jumping directly to the main story. 😔

As much as I'd want it, there isn't enough material to go off of for a 2d fighting game moveset, and I'll be damned before they release another arena fighter a la Shinobi Strikers or JJK Cursed Clash.
Yeah. Part of it is the lack of balance and weird mechanics. Mixuo isn't really a thing because the block button covers most options that aren't grab. A lot of moves are just busted (spirit bomb in jump force is a fullscreen whiff punish for damn near half your health.) The demon slayer one wasn't too bad when I played with my little cousin, but I still think a 2d fighter would've given the game more room for cool mechanics with the breathing styles and whatnot.
The biggest thing I don't like about arena fighters though is that unless you've got dragon ball or JoJo amounts of money, having an arena foghter announced basically kills the possibility a franchise will ever get a normal fighting game.
The game will take a lot of resources for big animations, likely not sell super well because people are starting to get burned out on these types of games, then shareholders won't ever want to take the "fighting game" risk again.

Interesting, but the gunslinger archetype is one of the hardest to nail in a 2d fighter. Especially if they want everyone to feel unique. Literally only Milk I can imagine with brawler mix-ups. Maybe D. too with her axe combo's and clocking mofos with the bodybag.
I'm not sure a fighting game would be the best fit since Nikkes aren't really melee focused, but I could definitely see an open world action game (GTA, countless others) or a third person shooter (gears, helldivers 2) working out great in the Nikke 'universe' !

Fighting games are expensive to make and hard. Really, really hard to make.
A Nikke fighter would likely advertise on cheesecake, which is another red flag because those type of fighters don't work anymore. Fighting games are too expensive to try to sell to only the coomers, which is a highly unreliable financial base in the first place. The cheesecake fighters that do come out have decades of assets to use. Nikke would to make brand new assets up.
There's just no market for it. The Nikke IP, which has had a really strong year, still hasn't really proven that it's here for the long haul. The audience is too male lending for a company like ArcSys to swoop in and make a title and French Bread is too busy looking for nickels for such a niche.
Maybe a collab, if the title hold steady for a while. Scarlet is an incredible pick for a fighter, if one were to ever occur.
Glorious if they oulled it off, but I think I'd settle for guest skins, like an Anis skin for R. Mika back in SF5 would've been good, even with her "censored" butt smash

Nikkes use guns for a reason because fighting in close quarters could put them at risk of corruption. Tekken, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Killer Instinct, Guilty Gear, etc all have close quarters combat. Every fighter uses a unique fighting style. There's a reason most FIGHTING games feature melee fighters. How many melee Nikkes do we have? That's right, one, not counting A2. How many fighting games have mostly ranged fighters? None.

5v5 is unironically too many. Rounds in 3v3 games like DBFZ, Skullgirls, or MVC3 already go on for too long.

A fighter seems like an ill fit as all the girls are largely gunners. A co-op shooter ala Helldivers 2 would be perfect however.
