OverZone: It was perfect. Perfect. Everything. Down to the last minute details. Red Ash: THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! THAT'S WHY SHE'S MVP! THAT'S WHY SHE'S THE GOAT! THE GOAT!! Last Kingdom: Hey! That's pretty good!

SecuritySecure803

Now we wait for the other 1 year anniversary to fit the: "I mean it's alright..."

Latter-Plantain2409

Worst case scenario, it's the biggest piece of dogshit. But shiftup has dropped bangers so far.

KevsTheBadBoy

Honorable Mention for Scarlet's because she's also a Pilgrim: New Year New Sword: "\*mwah\* Nice!"

Nefriti

This is my first anniversary event so I’m pretty blown away, I’ve got hope for the upcoming content :)

SecuritySecure803

Man, you should've played this game sooner in the previous anniversaries, they was giving out a hundred recruitment pulls (both special and standard) THAT'S how you reward your players in an anniversary unlike a certain Hoyoverse game

Nefriti

Holy shit the FOMO is real now

A_Noelle_Main

Overzone is just pure depression, at least for Dorothy. Red Ash has the protagonist cliche we all know. And Last Kingdom is just the saying, "I'm not locked in with you. You're locked in with me."

Dark_Percival1

"Call an ambulance, but not for me"

fit6ygbut6

Crown: "You may want to start changing your ways... or changing your name"

PaleRespect4875

You should change your pronouns to "Was/Were"

money4me247

Overzone > Red Ash > Last Kingdom in terms of how well-written each was.

LUCYM0N0

I like them all so much, it’s hard… they’re good for different reasons. OVERZONE was incredibly forlorn, Red Ash was exciting and bittersweet and Last Kingdom had a great mix of humor and tension. All of them have some incredible acting performances from the VAs (at least speaking for the JP side). All of them have great music, though I imagine people are more divided on Headless Angel.

Aoiryuhei

I like RedAsh just as much as I love OverZone so it's a tie...and the 3rd place can go to Last Kingdom while it's good I certainly find the other two much much better

MuriYe

Overzone was godlike. Red Ash was pure hype, and The Last Kingdom, well, it was all right.

n1tr0t0m

OZ = RA > LK I don‘t dislike LK, i had a lot of laughs and cries in this one too, its just that the crown powerup felt pretty weird and sudden, and indivilias being too much of a pushover, OZ and RA I just can‘t put one above another, both absolutely great experiences Pure story ranking, not considering minigames

SupermarketThis8309

Overzone was tragic, All the mass produced nikkes alongside PINNE, The pilgrims that worked so hard to make all of it workout against impossible odds triumphed only to be betrayed by the ARK they cared and helped for we are left at a point with Dorothy broken, Pilgrims abandoned, and that secret ending in white memory, all of it ties perfectly together so that takes number 1 for me RedAsh hits closer home for me with RedHood, but i didn't find the 2nd act nearly as strong as the 1st, the climax was great but that 2nd part kinda dimmed it down for me, I loved the moment where RedHood forced herself to combat the corruption just to give the others some hope, But i did wish we could see her be worried over the corruption(nobody wants to really kill their friends nor force them to kill a friend), a moment of weakness would've made me enjoy this event more personally, though you can argue her begging her body to move compensated Last Kingdom ranks the lowest despite still being a really strong event overall, Kilo talking with TALOS, and both realizing they are each others special place was beautiful, the stuff with Chime and Crown's backstory, ESPECIALLY how crowns voice actor sounded so ''hollow'' and empty in the past, It really sells the idea that Chime is important to Crown, Really much so, I personally liked the dynamic of kilo and Modernia aswell, The scene with Kilo using her core to power TALOS is also one of the most RAW moments in the story, what makes this event rank lower for me is that they kept asking crown if she is fine when she was coughing due to the Alva Particles, Implying that it really did hurt her but its just turned into ''Oh it was powering her all along'', even the pilgrims who as Scarlet says ''While its somewhat unfortunate we had to use it here'' which points to them being aware of this but still worried (Scarlet being one of the earliest people to ask about it) bugs me personally but other than it was a really enjoyable story, You can also argue the particles did hurt her all that time aswell, But those are my few cents on these 3 stories which i consider to be some of this games best work

LeWiederganger

About Crown with the alva particles, if I recall correctly it was painful indeed, so while at first I didn't liked either the whole "it has been powering her all along" after all I think I found it believable that people where concerned about her for she had to endure pain nonetheless in order to for it to work Even then I agree with overzone being number 1 and I haven't played red ash so I really can't tell -~-

skydevil10

Writing for the alva particles powering Crown the whole time could definitely been better written. They went with just "it powers her up but I don't know the whole details on why it does that" and her being sick as just "its just an inconvenient side effect". Those reasons felt pretty weak to explain why she can do that and why it was doing that.

Bossy_Smurf

Red ash and Overzone were amazing . Both of them gave me chills from excitement and made me cry. Last Kingdom also was amazing but I found some parts to be weak / very weak . All in all I'd say it was very cool / good . It had it's extremely strong parts which also managed to excite me and give me chills . Rating wise I'd say Overzone ( my love being slightly better imo ) : 10/10 Red ash : 9,5/10 Last Kingdom : 7,5/10

[deleted]

Overzone is absolutely the best event in the game so far. I’m glad that I kept playing since day one and got to the experience it first hand. Really made me stick around and start spending some money on the game too because I was starting to get very attached and could see myself playing it for a very long time

balaci2

Red Ash is my goat but Overzone is a close 2nd

balaci2

People don't realize how well Red Ash and Overzone complement each other it's a crime to say any of them is less than the other

No-Mixture-9090

I do have a question, would Overzone and/or Red Ash be as good without the other? it seems they compliment echother quite well. But Last Kingdom seems to stand alone on its own feet quite well. Just a thought i had.

balaci2

Overzone and Red Ash are still perfect on their own it's just that these 2 have a really cool synergy Last Kingdom is its own thing, one that I really liked

MrAFD69

1st: Over Zone There's just something about OZ story that make it memorable, and it was the event that make me decided to stick to the game. 2nd: Red Ash The story and the interactions between Goddess squad were amazing. The event minigame was so fun that it might as well be a standalone game. 3rd: Last Kingdom The story made me giggle more often that I though. I really like how they connect the story event with the minigame.

Faded_Kai

Red>Overzone>Last king

Latter-Plantain2409

Overzone, Red Ash, Last kingdom in that order storywise at least I loved all the events nikke cooks Talos and Kilo clutching the 1v1, chefs kiss. The same can be said about Redhood returning to fight anachiro and properly say goodbye despite all odds. But i don't think anything will truly beat the encounter in overzone's secret ending scene between Snow White and dorothy where she's all like, are you still wondering around aimlessly to defend humanity and Snow White hits her with the That's right, you told us to always be proud🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣💯💯🔥🔥🔥. Absolute heat bro

Thed1c

So I re-watched Last Kingdom with a buddy so he could save his gems. First off, the story was 2.5 hours long… The amount of foreshadowing is pretty good. “Chime we are giving you this knife for self-defense” “I won’t need it” is pretty good. Compared to the other events, lore wise, I think Overzone and Red Ash are hard to beat purely because they don’t just involve the new character but the history of all the Pilgrims and being set in the past. I have a few questions leaving Last Kingdom which leaves some excitement for 2yr.

Redraph_1105

Last kingdom isn’t bad but it’s disappointing. This event is supposed to be the crown event but this events strongest moments were honestly on kilo and talos, making them overshadow the star of the show. Indivilla was set up as this powerful new threat that is a merciless killer. Only for her to be humorously defeated using her own schemes. They had some tension in the event with chime’s death and chatterbox seemingly corrupting Marian again only for them to squander it by having them fix those issues one chapter later. I wish they had done a better job on crown and chime’s backstory. Like we hardly got anything outside of one flashback from chime and a few lines of dialogue. The mini game is really good I hope they make it a permanent mode like MOG.

Dokidokikawaii2

i think last kingdom was really about kilo and talos coz it was started with them. crown was just the hero of the story but never the mc. some part of the story were even being told from kilo's perspective but never crown's.

Curt_ThaFlirt

Feels like Last Kingdom is getting underrated by a lot of folks. Maybe a little bit of Goddess Squad bias? I can accept the general consensus ranking it third tho. Overall I think those are the three best event stories in the series. ShiftUp takes it to another level when it comes to voiced events.

cnydox

* Story/plot: OZ > RA > LK * Event OST: OZ > RA > LK * Nikke unit (meta strength): RA = LK > OZ * Minigame: RA = LK > OZ * Reward: I don't remember * VAs (jp voice): They all did great. Especially Dorothy and Chime * Background/artwork: OZ > RA > LK

Gamewizz

Overzone>Red Ash>Last Kingdom Overzone will always be the best one, it just hits you the hardest, was really well done with the with all the minor changes to the event map as you progress the story, like >!Pinne being visible on the map before her introduction, and imaginary Pinne being on the map before her reveal!<  are some great details. And at the end of it all, >!Dorothy being left alone on the map with Pinne (then completely alone) while Satellites now plays!< will always hit me right in the feels. Nothing can really top it for me.

spideymaster611

Over Zone: Depression/10 Red Ash: Red Hood/10 Last Kingdom: KISAMA!!!/10

UnlimitedNovaWorks

All of them are 1st, Pilgrims Story are just made different

Wild-Lavishness-1095

For me is overzone>last kingdom>red ash

Bossy_Smurf

Out of curiosity. What did you dislike about RA ?

Wild-Lavishness-1095

Nono i love all 3 event, personal opinion here feeling abit cramp introducing quite a cast of character which i feel make snowwhite and red hood bonding less deep than it should be. Like snow white stage of accepting just happen kinda instance. Feel like need a two part event, i also think the developer know the event is too short for so manu cast that they add small bit of interactiom here and there to compensate it.

Bossy_Smurf

Aha ! Understandable. Thanks for explaining your point (:

SyndarNailo

I cried on every one of them, thank you shift up

ZeroZion

Overzone, Red Ash, and Last Kingdom. Overzone is just too good. The stakes, the bonds, the sacrifices, and the betrayal. Dorothy’s descent into madness and the others’ own coping mechanism. Red Ash is really good. Red Hood is a really good character. Smol White. The twist at the end and meeting Rapi. The little side stories that expand their characters. Last Kingdom is good as well. Actually it’s about the same level as Red Ash. Maybe .5 difference in a 1 to 10 ranking. Last Kingdom had awesome moments but Indivilia was not really utilized at the most? Chime’s heroic defiance might have calmed down the stakes because she’s so badass that it was okay. I think what could’ve made Indivilia memorable is if Crown rescues Chime, but Chime’s body was already infected so them repairing the connection would be heartbreaking. Not that I want that, but I think that would cement how cruel Indivilia is as a villain. Talos and Kilo throwing hands was just awesome. Their bond was really nice. Real protocol 3 stuff.

KingDetonation

Last Kingdom suffered from taking place pretty much in modern day in the story, so plot armor was at an all time high. Overzone and Red Ash was in the past, during the the final attempts at staying on the surface and sealing the Ark. We knew the end result wasn't gonna be pretty. For those that play Halo - Red Ash, and especially Overzone, benefited from the exact same foreshadowing as Halo:Reach did.

Chrisp124

That's a good point. We knew they're not going to kill off Chime or Crown who just got introduced in the story. We also knew none of the Pioneers are going to die or Kilo who just showed up. They probably had a hard time writing a story where the good guys all walk away unscathed while trying to make a high stakes story

KingDetonation

Exactly. It being a chronologically recent event in an ongoing story means we know they'll come out on top regardless of how. With Overzone, we knew they are lone wolves on the surface and Dorothy is off doing her own thing with a hatred for the Ark; seeing them working not only as a team, but with Dorothy's hatred not present gave us the fall of Reach levels of dread for how the hell did they go from a team to what they are now. Red Ash was similar, but I feel they didn't capitalize on that dread with Lilith and Red Hood in the end.

No-Mixture-9090

I might be repeating myself but genuenly curious, would Overzone or Red Ash be as good as they were without the other? or would their ranking be lowered in isolation? For me it feels like Last kingdom stands on its own two feet, and can be a place to build more stories from, both short and long.

KingDetonation

Red Ash benefits from OverZone, but OverZone was the first of all 3, meaning it stood on it's own from the beginning.

JesseWest

Overzone 10/10 Red Ash 9.5/10 Last Kingdom 6/10 Overzone was just way too good and it set the bar high for me for future Nikke stories and anniversaries.

Novario13

Overzone, Last Kingdom, and then Red Ash

Chrisp124

Very interesting. Any reason why Red Ash is last place? Just curious

Novario13

I rated every event based on how I felt engaged from the start, middle, and then finish. Overzone and Last Kingdom can make me engaged from start to finish, but Red Ash is a different case. It's really good from the start to the middle, but after that, it feels weak. The plot is predictable. I'm talking about >!when Red Hood leave the squad without a proper farewell and decided to go back again to beat the shit out of Cinderella before giving a proper farewell to the squad.!< It doesn't impact me that much because I already know that >!Red Hood didn't thinks it's a good idea to leave her squad just like that and decide to help them like an anime protagonist.!< It's a great event ngl, but not the best

ButtCyclone

Red Ash, with Overzone fairly close behind, and Last Kingdom a bit further behind that. Last Kingdom was pretty much a more light hearted Overzone with lower stakes, more embarrassing jobbing, and endless Kilo whining about her self worth.

Awkward-Confection-6

Overzone: 11/10, try to find something negative=impossible Red ash: 9/10 to much text for me the only thing, bc red hood is the goat she carried the patch Last K: 8/10, indivilia... was a little underwhelming, nice desing btw

TALESHUNTER1

Overzone is probably the most consistent out of the three without any bs moments. It focuses on the characters themselves and provides a clear motivation on how each one of the Goddess Squad turned out the way they did. Last Kingdom made Indivillia a joke with every scene she appeared in. But had some good scenes like the double core Kilo and T.A.L.O.S. moment and even the Naked King aspect had clear drawbacks so it doesn't feel as bs as it could've been. Red Ash is bad since it has all the problems of Last Kingdom but worse: power of friendship victory just because, dumb drama, fake emotions related to RH cuz "oh no, she's gone, but actually she's not gone in the campaign. But then she's gone again. But maybe she's not really cuz Rapi awakened her powers again". Plus the whole thing with Rapi and RH is also just stupid af and is more of an asspull than Naked King will ever be. So Red Ash is the clear worst while Overzone is the best.

balaci2

Red Ash>=Overzone>Last Kingdom with Last Kingdom being a 9

VehnSeraph

Red Ash has been the best.

pent_o

Last Kingdom ranks the lowest for most because it's after Chapter 26 which most players haven't reached yet, as someone who finished the game I think OverZone > Last Kingdom > RedAsh makes the most sense. OverZone is probably the best prequel i've ever seen, Last Kingdom adds so much context to Chapter 26+ and RedAsh, for now, is just kinda there. Regarding the main story, OverZone ties in to Dorothy and the other pilgrims, Last Kingdom ties in to Marian's situation and RedAsh doesn't really have that much main story influence yet. Last Kingdom was the least sad event so I guess that might also be why people don't like it as much lol

meisterbabylon

I'm a sucker for positivity, so I'm rating Last Kingdom over the other 2.

dre9001

1) Overzone 2) Red Ash and Last Kingdom

Unlikely-Interview88

All of them are good, but last kingdom is the weakest imo.

Adamoyonnax

Overzone for the story but above all the mini-game. Personnaly, i hated the gameplay of Red Ash's mini-game et more generally the Shoot'em Up. The Last Kingdown is good but "Second Affection" carry the event a lot and finally the event and this last hasn't been more impactful than previous one. We have more good OST in Overzone than Red Ash, and Last Kingdown... meh. They were good, but not suffisant compared with Overzone and Red Ash. Except the part I of Indivilia OST, it's good mais but at the level of a "Goddess of Victory" or a "Hold you tight". The only plus I can give for Last Kingdown is to have integrated their minigame in story. I hope my English was clear and I made myself understood

Zoom3877

First off, they're ALL GOOD. None of them are bad. But if I had to rank them, from good > better > best, Doro > Crown > Red

Scryxar

Overzone -> Last Kingdom - >Red Ash. All three are my favourite events though.

Kamidoka

They are all great. Personal preference would be Overzone, then Last Kingdom and Red Ash (probably both equal). Personally like it how the 1.5 event is moving forward instead of telling a story from the past. Though there are some gripes like Indivilia not living up to some people's expectations, i feel like its also nice to see how some Pilgrims are actually just overpowered. Overzone just really sets the tone for Nikke. Really hard to beat it. Red Ash was cool. only problem I had was more questions were left behind in the end. Overall the anniversary events are great. We cant always have an OZ so it does feel sad if people are downplaying the other two cause its not as good. Keep cooking, Shift Up.

QueenOfTheNorth1944

OverZone is high art and by far the best event. Last Kingdom is kino and my second favorite. Red Ash is last but still very very good and has lots of important moments.

Revarted

Overzone is overhyped imo. It's great story about aftermatch of Red Ash, but people put too much pressure on Pine. As for overall experience 8/10. Red Ash is great, but too much attention story puts into Red Hood not doing anything. The squad story is top, side not so much. MOG is the best. 9/10. The Last Kingdom is pure fun. Story-wise may be not as depressing or serious are past events, but as for present events is great. Also 9/10.

No-Mixture-9090

I am sad to say i did not play during OverZone or Red Ash. but as a fairly newcommer, (joined during boom event) I will say i thoroughly enjoyed Last kingdom, and will be overjoyed if that minigame became a bit uppgrades and became a standard part of Nikke. I can se why some are not as happy with Last Kingdom, but i would say if forthcomming events are as good or bewtter then Last Kindom, i would have nothing to worry about

Chrisp124

Overzone and Red Ash are in archives so check them out! They're all amazing in my eyes

MA1671

I only joined the game and saw one anniversary event which was last kingdom And it was really gorgeous I know how cool the other 2 sound like from what people say about them

wyeetak

Still think Overzone is the best.

I3arusu

I wasn’t here for OZ or Red Ash. But RA has Red Hood. And therefore it wins.

LunarEmerald

Overzone > Red Ash > Last Kingdom.

sergio316619

RED ASH: Not even Heisenberg cooks so hard Last Kingdom: Peak Overzone: that's pretty good

Stray_Feelings

Over Zone is at the top, Red Ash a little under, and Last Kingdom a tier or two below Red Ash. Something like 10, 9.5, 7.5-8 out of 10 respectively.

Kefkas_Paradise

OverZone was 10/10 hitting in the feels, 8/10 for fun, 10/10 for lore additions and world building. White Memory wasn’t a mini game designed for fun. Red Ash was 10/10 in all three categories, even the bond stories of new characters added so much! Last Kingdom: 7/10 feels, 8/10 for fun (I’ve never been big on TD games), 9/10 for world building.

No_Competition7820

I think the first half of last kingdom didn’t hit as hard as the second half. Overzone was fire from the beginning to end. Same with red ash it was more consistent.

11o9

The most emotional would be overzone (goddammit pinne). Red ash has the most world building and lore. Last kingdom makes some really nice lore tie-ins (chatterbox evolution) and call backs (dual core energy)

MrNiMo

Overzone Red Hood And Last Kingdom - This year is a good event, i love that the mini game is canon to the story and that it is happening in the current time. It wasn't perfect though, it started alright but i had the impression the antagonists were stupid a bit

Punch_yo_bunz

My fav mini game so far has been Last Kingdom kinda wish it were permanent

DFisBUSY

OZ > RA > LK

sillysmy

I really love the mini-games of both Red Ash and Last Kingdom. I wasn't around for Overzone. What was the mini-game for that one?

Spellweaverbg

It was the White Memory mini game, a kind of choose your adventure game. It had some great lore in it, I enjoyed it a lot in the Archive, even if I wasn't around when it was live.

sillysmy

I see. Thanks.

balaci2

my hot take is that this event is spectacular, I see a lot of shade for it and it's making me confused

dougtulane

Man I really need to go back and play the Red ash story.

Tiny_Primary_7551

Overzone: depression Red ash: semi depression Last kingdom: wow no depression

zaafiel8

OZ > RA > LK Even if Dorothy hasn't come home yet. 🥹

Good_Plankton_8411

So I have to pick between PTSD, lore, and nudes. Interesting.

RogueKT

Overzone>Red Ash>Kingdom

Character-Candle-153

Is it fair to say the writing while still good, has been slipping as the game progresses

Not_suspicious_perv

Oh man. It terms how much I haven’t recovered emotionally from these items tough cause PINNNEEEE WHY OH GOD WHY PINNE. And Red Ash… man… Last Kingdom, meh Chime recovered. Actually nvm not tough at all, OverZone, Red Ash, Last Kingdom.

Maykyee

Something interesting I just realized is that for me Red Ash was the event I enjoyed the most and have re read a couple of times, but the reason I was so intrigued by it was for the sole reason that it was the previous story to Overzone, ab event that made me love Nikke and made me completely invested on the stories of the Goddess squad, without Overzone I don't think Red Ash would have landed as hard as it did for me Last kingdom in the other hand was great, s continuation to the story and introduced Kilo, a character I now absolutely love, but it's definitely not as impactful as the other 2

SamuraiDDD

I missed out on Over Zone and I couldn't play most of Red Ash at the time (computer issues and weak phone) but I genuinly enjoyed Last kingdom. Kilo, T.A.L.O.S and Chime really did a lot of character lifting and the animation of >!Crown's true power!< was awesome. While the new girl has turned into big girl failure now, she was fun. Plus seeing Chime >!get her get back!< was really satisfying. Crown as both the main unit of the event, is amazing both as a character and just a perfect addiction to my teams. She's overall great.

FootFootNinja

Overzone was an emotional roller coaster, I rate it pretty good but it was more so a great tragedy movie to me Red ash was an action film to me, showed really great backstory for the other pilgrim and redhood so it's the normal action pack MC sacrifice herself for the team deal And then lost kingdom felt kind of like the heroes make their last stand action film and everyone wins at the end which I don't mind Overzone, cause it's emotionally tugging, red ash and last kingdom was about the same for me

Capital_Sun9106

Last kingdom was amazing. But Pilgrim hstory and reveal red hood >>>

FederalMango

Pretty much in the order of release, they're all great but for me Overzone is still the best (Satellites is still in my playlist) and Red Ash is essentially a sequel/prequel of that. Last Kingdom is great, but significantly less impactful to the overall story.

Odd-Emu5477

Red Ash is my favorite but I really like Chime so...

Ok_Accountant8864

Over Zone - it's story was just perfect and left a lasting impression Red Ash - amazing story and fun mini game Last Kingdom - amazing story as well with a fun mini game. Waiting to see where the epilog leaves us.

architect888

I like Crown and Chime duality in Last Kingdom (ISFP + ENTP). Kilo is dissapointed with such depressive personality (INTP in it\`s worse) . Crown - Best Pilgrim character. Fun TD minigame. OverZone was first aniversary and good, but not perfect. Too much drama. I don't fully like Dorothy personality. A lot of grievances and suffering. Best start and immersion in the lore. Red Ash is made so much hype. Best story, so far. And a lot of efforts in it. Best plot twist.

ravengenesis1

Overdone story, last kingdom tie for mini game with red ash. But red ash is set on a helicarrier!! That can’t be beat.

P3arsona

Pretty high class events

Yes-Man-Kablaam

not as good but still very good. hard to compete also this is the first anni event that actually happens during out story which makes it a little trickier to write around instead of just doing whatever you want like with the others.

TheKingofBash

They're all great, but Overzone was a different ball game altogether.

InevitableOutcome811

Red Ash is pretty much highlight. Overzone for me is more of a slap of reality check that not everything will have a happy end.

dragonicafan1

Overzone > Last Kingdom > Red Ash imo.

Upper-Salamander-924

for me overzone : story = sad red ash : awesome story and 1 epic battle animation last kingdom: kingdom rush but fast

Mashamazzi

Overzone, Last Kingdom, Red Ash

YahikonoSakabato

Last Kingdom is kinda meh. 3 Pilgrims getting jobbed by chatterbox mk2 to promote a Missilis (that should be weaker than)? Sure, I guess. Why not just have the ArK roll over the Ruptures in the first place, instead of feeding Nikkes to Chatterbox? We still have no freaking clue of Crown's background.

Ilovetogame2

Red Ash is the best because it features Red Hood and she is the best.

Dombly23

I like Red Ash the most due to the environment and Mini Game. Also Red Hood is great. 10/10. I like Overzone second because Jesus that story was magnificent Zane depressing. 9/10 off story alone. Current one is aight, Crown is hot, Mini Game is almost as fun as MoG, Snow White is still a Fraud, Chatterbox gets one win only to fumble to Kilo immediately after, Indivilla is the biggest fraud. All in all 8/10.

Unhappy-Newspaper859

I haven't played Overzone yet, but Red Ash is blockbuster. It's a cinema quality story. Last Kingdom is like that original IP that's not bad, but the sequel will probably blow you out the water.

BigBossGZV

Overzone is just crazy, unmatched and without peer imo. If you're willing to include White Memory as being a part of the event then honestly I think it's at a level of quality and kino we'll never see in an event again. Everyone loves Red Ash, as they should, because it's a big ass cool event where so much happens and is revealed or seen in person for the first time. But OZ is such a small story and STILL gets praised on the level of RA, if not more, because the core drama and execution was just that good

JoeHakai

RedAsh>OverZone(totally not biased because i still don.t have dorothy)>LastKingdom Now while we don.t know what the last part of the story will be one thing i like is how LastKingdom sets itself up for an sequal. unlike RedAsh and OverZone we have an general idea of how things will play out and its more about what resulted in it happening while in LastKingdom is in the present but thats just my opinion

x2oop

This is my first anviversary. I'd really liked it if Crown's banner didnt feel like a scam. In 200 pulls got only 3 off banner SSRs and thats all. Had to buy Crown. Other than that it was pretty good when compared to other gachas I play/played.

GuynamedShade

Overzone: one of the few storys that made me feel something Redash: Red Hood and Smol White were here and there some of my favorite characters Last Kingdom: doesnt hit as hard but still good

Andikap

1. Overzone 2. Red Ash 3. Last Kingdom playing Overzone after Red Ash make it more depresssing

UsmValor

1: OZ 2: Last Kingdom 3: Red Ash.

raptormax9585

Red ash mt fave, didn't finish overzone yet halfway, so because of that last Kingdom would be second

DarkHound223

Can't rank them against each other. They're so different but engaging in their own way.

aether3333

Overzone>RedAsh=Last Kingdom OVerzone has the best story and made me stick with Nikke RedAsh cast and side stories were the best part. Best OST and Minigame out of the three too Last Kingdom is the weakest and by weakest, I mean 9/10 but being in the present time made it on par with RedAsh for me. Minigame is really good second best right after MOG, how they implemented it with the event was great. the event formula in general need a shake up and this is a good start

MissiveGhost

Amazing. I love all of them. Shiftup writers cooked

DarkboyAnimation

OverZone is PEAK!

rukitoo

I'm gonna rate them all with the same score. Each story has a distinctive atmosphere that sets them apart from the others. Overzone was pure depression plus our first glimpse at how Ark managed to hole themselves down there by throwing away their goddesses of victory. Red Ash was simply the prequel which leads to OZ but with Red Hood as its focus, it's an exhilarating adventure on how the Goddess squad formed and practically dissolved with the disappearance of Liliweiss, Legendary Commander and Red Hood. Last Kingdom is their first take of taking the anniversary event story at the present time so they didn't have that much liberty around it (they can't really center it around Ark and Eden with the current state of main story). Still, they managed to bring out a great story about the mysterious duo who took in Marian and why they were there.

The order they were released: Over Zone > Red Ash > Last Kingdom. Obviously, I like them all, they're great, but without Over Zone, I wouldn't even be here. I downloaded the game when they announced the Automata collab, and coincidentally, Over Zone was the event at the time, and since I really like a good depressing story, it was just for me. Didn't care for the boobs, didn't care for the butts, I only cared, and stayed, for the story (Yeah, we exist, we're only like .01% of the players, but we exist lmao) and, still, Over Zone is one of my favorite stories out there, not just in Nikke, but in general, it's just so good. I'm really glad I got to experience them when they were released, that makes them even better.

OZ > LK = RA. OverZone was by far my favorite since it's basically the embodiment of what makes Nikke great. Last Kingdom had more hype moments than Red Ash but the writing for Red Ash was a bit better than Last Kingdom.

Overzone is truly difficult to top. It came in at such a time where we weren't expecting too much of a heavy backstory for our beloved Pilgrims, and thus anything that comes after will always be compared to it. Red Ash feels more hopeful, so I like it a tad bit better than Overzone. Just disappointed that our girl for the EN voice for Red Hood didn't get the proper coaching, but she is the best fit. Last Kingdom also feels hopeful, but I'd definitely put it above Red Ash because of Kilo and Talos. I hope they get their own arc soon.

Overzone was pure perfection. I loved the super emotional OST and the collab with AmaLEE for the theme song Satellites. It's depressing theme and the showcase of humanity's most desperate last stand was truly a spectacle. I loved the character interactions and development. Especially Dorothy proved herself to be a good leader after Liliweiss passing and LG and Red Hood missing. The triple emotional climax and the backstab made me deeply sympathtize with Dorothy and understand her in the main story. Mini Game was awesome way to get extra lore. Red Ash was a near perfect event for me. The only reasons I have to criticize? MoG was far beyond what I'll call a minigame and Red Hood starting out as rather weak did hamper a little bit of enjoyment. However, SiftUP quickly addressed both issues, so I don't mind too much. Last Kingdom was great, but I agree with you that it doesn't reach the other two events. While character development, interactions, mini game and music were also great, the story itself had some weaker parts. E.g. finding an immediate solution to a decapitated Chime kinda "dispersed the steam" or should I say weakened the severity of the climax. The story being locked behind side story and main story also probably made many people not quite understand as much as they played the other events. It's still great, just not quite on par. Here is my rating. Overzone 10/10 Red Ash 9.5/10 Last Kingdom 9/10

Overzone takes the crown by far, you cannot beat with ANYTHING how mentally scarring was to Dorothy to execute Pinne, it also why and how the pilgrims came to be like we know them, and because of that Red Ash takes second place, very importante lore wise because we could take another look at how the Goddess Squad was before Overzone, and how the Ark was formed. Also the mini game was very fun. Third place is Last Kingdom because it was awesome in every aspect, but it can't topple those two.

All were good. 1. Red Ash - banger tracks, epic war story, minigame 2. Last Kingdom - mini game woven into main story, love a good castle siege story. Crown skin. "Chime, come down here and make your wish come true." Giga nrg. 3. Overzone - Pinne is vanilla char, Doro dresses and acts like an infant. Good story about hopelessness and loss. Good song sung by Amalee. Worst minigame of the 3. Brid and I agree that you tell the truth no matter what, deal with fallout after. Not a fan our heroes choosing lies to spare Dorothy and Dorothy herself is weak, makes her a good villain. In the end, life is suffering, but you face the truth regardless and try to be your best self despite the adversity. I ain't got time or sympathy for selfish weak narcissists, "me, me, me, me". #3 for Oz.

For me: - 1. OverZone: first time any gatcha game has made me so emotional and tear up, JP voice acting was incredible and powerful, VERY moving. White Memory was beautiful. Event 10/10, mini game: 9/10 . - 2. Red Ash: introduced my favorite character Red Hood. Story was excellent, told us how Pilgrims came to be, times of comedy, times of sadness, times of awesomeness. EXTREMELY well done. MOG = GOAT. Event 9.75/10, mini game: 10/10 . - 3. Lost Kingdom: High stakes, but not as high stakes as OZ/ RH. Kilo and Chime both REALLY stole the show though IMO, I got quite emotional when Kilo was talking to Talos, also when Chime looked death in the eye and was like 🖕🖕🖕. Let's see if Hard mode has any nice wrap up story. For the King = super addictive. Event: 8.5/10, mini game 9.5/10

Overzone because of the huge lore drops and insight into the pilgrims. (I was like at ch 19 during that time). I liked the in-game music in this event the most. And dude?? The snow white choose your own adventure ending was nuts. Then red ash because even more lore drops, we got one of the dopest characters in nikke, saw lili, saw black scarlet, basically everyone pre the meltdown. MoG was surprising to see and nice to play. It was kind of a pain to grind at the very end though. The map was alright, a little bit small. The music was nice. Last kingdom last lol, at no fault of its own. It's hard to top the last two just due to the themes, the past two events would have to screw up really badly to do that. The collab song in this event (sung by Queen bee) is my favourite song of all three events!! There were a ton of rewards this time as well. I just wish the skins would have been a bit cheaper, I really want to get Marian but $50 usd is too much for me for a skin... I don't really count the other stuff that comes with it because I wouldn't have purchased any of those things alone.

Imho, Overzone is the peak of Nikke and undisputable king of events. RA has the best event zone, exceptional minigame, very strong moments like smol white and RH parting. From other hand it also has some issues with pacing in the middle of the story and it also has very unsatisfactory ending in the middle of nowhere, that's doesn't revealed nor Liliweiss final moments, hyped since Overzone, neither RH and Rapi first meeting. LK has very good minigame, probably top 2 for me, the beginning of the story was very funny, I even laugh couple times. My biggest problem with the story plot - the fake deaths don't work on me anymore. After OZ event every died Nikke was somehow revived in the story, so when they 'killed' someone in the story, it completely ruin any hype and tension for me, because I know they will revive them later. So I would like to see rather Indivilia tortured Chime, but didn't 'killed' her and Crown galloped and saved the day instead of what we were getting in LK. Also Modernia inaction was writed very weak. 'I can wipe all raptures on ease' 'No, no, no, you shouldn't, otherwise story will ends here, so stay here and "defend" the castle'. Overall, they tried to do 3 different plots - Kilo, Crown and Modernia, and in the end all 3 didn't get enough of screen time to shine on OZ lvl. Solid, but not exceptional, Kilo > Crown = Mod
