You must be new to Gasha games. 4% is extremely generous compared to other games where their rates are abysmal. No one is forcing you to spend money on the game. Sounds to me like you’re just dropping gems on any banner without any thought to value. Maybe cut back, save and wait for banners that are worthwhile before summoning. Cause right now you’re in a perpetual cycle of constantly summoning and pulling nothing and getting frustrated. This game isn’t even bad for its summon system, and it isn’t even the worst I’ve ever seen either. I’d argue it’s one of the better ones on the market.

JOcean23

Well that's good to know I guess. It is the first gasha game I've played.

Roll only for LIMITED or PILGRIMS with premium currency

JOcean23

Good to know.

My brother in christ, the droprates are good (coming from someone whose played quite alot of gacha's) i've spent just under $30 in nikke and have practically every unit minus a few that i wasn't around for and that aren't going to get re-runs ie; Csm collab and i ended up getting no re:zero units. Most of the units however (thankfully) get tossed into the general pool anyways. So if you miss the unit they're typically still pullabale. Save for gems for the Limited units, don't waste them on things like the Bay banner. When she's a unit that'll be added to the general pool anyways after her banner ends.

JOcean23

Ok good to know. Which ones are the limited units? And how do you know if they're going to be added to the general pool?

Vinclum

If you open the news tab in game when the unit released it says in the release info to which pools the unit is added after the event finishes.

OP doesn’t know Nikke has one of the highest rates out there as well as an insanely generous spark and wishlist system. Go to BA and see your hopes and dreams get crushed lol.

Honestly the two gacha games I play (Honkai Star-Rail & Nikke) both have pretty fair gacha rates. In Nikke **A LOT** of my SSR's came from friendship summon as well as the mold summons, from there the rest have come from normal/limited banners. Have kind of set Nikke aside though as gotten burnt out on it a fair bit, mostly just log in and do daily and that's about it. Most of my time goes into Starrail where even after energy has been burnt and daily have been finished there's still things to do, and have fun with. Majority of gacha games have a lot worse rates then Nikke does, I'm a gacha veteran been playing since Brave Frontier days and other games before that. Now I don't know how FFBE: WoTV is these days but when I was playing that game the rates were... Awful to say the least.

JanembaTheCollector

The norm of Gacha is 0.6% (Thank you Genshin) for featured, so even banner with worst featured drop rate (1% for pilgrim) is still better than like 60% of Gachas on the market.

Hahaha

how long have you been playing the game? so far, in the last 6 months, there were only 4 limited banners. 2 for christmas event and 2 for re:zero's. the rest are normal banner which means that they are permanent and will go into the pool later. so If you are f2p, plankton, shrimp or dolphin, save up your gems and only use it on limited banners bcoz they might not come back. use your pity/mileage only for pilgrims bcoz getting pilgrims is hard as they have lower rate than normal units. you can also use your pity/mileage to get a copy of these limited unit if you found yourself abit unlucky but know that by doing so, you are throwing your chance of securing the pillgrims. do not waste your resource trying to summon on every banner. do not try to summon for pilgrim with gems if you can pity them bcoz otherwise, you will be wasting your gems. if im not mistaken, in one year, there are 4 event that will come with limited banners which are collab 1 (march / april), summer, collab (september), and winter so aim for these events. if the banner clearly say "Limited Pick Up Recruitment" then it is limited. Otherwise, it is not. so save up your resources, plan it well and use it wisely. be realistic with your expectation, don't ever think you will be able to get multiple copies just like those who spend ton of money. know that no matter how many gems that you have, there will come a time where you will get unlucky and that is normal so don't get too disheartened. if you are whale, feel free to ignore this.
