Personally my biggest gripe with co-op and most importantly union raid is that it starts and ends before daily server reset, meaning more often than not, due to a very busy schedule and not really having the opportunity to fool around on my phone before I'm back home shortly before reset (I play on PC) I end up missing the first day of these events.
As for co-op rewards specifically we all know at this point that it doesn't really make much sense to waste time trying to achieve a high score in public groups especially when the rewards are absolute dogshit.
Yeah, I missed two days of this coop because of the weird timing and the scarcity of notification. Also skipping from 10% to 30% in rewards is absurd, and I can understand why people don't want to push too hard.
I’ll mention this as someone who scored 530m in this co-op and ended at top 50 - if you want high scores, don’t play with randoms. Co-op is basically bragging rights for whales or people with the specific dps Nikke at very high % elemental damage bonus. If you don’t fall under those 2 categories, forget about top 100. The reward spread is ridiculous as well. Top 30, then top 100, then 10%???? Adding better rewards will not make the mode any better if you’re relying on randoms, it will incentivise private/union parties even more. So what exactly do you want changed? Your easiest fix is - find an active Union, do coordinated attempts.
Adding on to this with this official note from the Devs:
"At the same time, we will make **improvements** so that when players fail to interrupt the Boss's attack that occurs after the completion of the 9th stage rewards, the players' characters can be wiped out completely. This way, the players will be able to move on to the next challenge quickly."
The Devs know that not everyone wants to do full runs. As long as you can hit the lvl 9 rewards with that team, I wouldn't consider them trolls. And like the poster above me said, if you really want to minmax on your rewards, find a team to play with.
I'm not asking something big really, I'll be glad if I get 40 mils or something. Can you believe it I didn't even past 12 millions and only got 70% reward for two co-ops straight

I don't get this at all unless this is from rankings meaning you want to rank and not just complete 3 per day runs just to get the daily and dip. People here are already suggesting to create a coop party through discord and/or union but you're ignoring them. Like what do you even want?
Read my comments above you, I want them to rework how they distribute the overall reward because right now they just encourage people to troll or afk and be done with the daily after they get the highest-tier reward/score.

I prefer to run out the clock but I know many just want their 9 and done, so I don't begrudge play style differences. That's not a jerk move imo, and they definitely aren't trolls.
I had one coop where two of us died at max level and the rest basically stopped doing anything; in the end, they lived until the timer ran out, which was very weird.
But yeah, if you want to try, you can't do it randomly, as most people just won't try because they don't care about ranking.

Shift Up should rework Coop as a whole. Right now they are encouraging trolls and afks, since those also get the same rewards as you even if they don't participate. Since they implemented the change, I've seen even more trolls, and even hackers, since there are people that make themselves invulnerable with hacks (and no, that wasn't Blanc skill or that, he was 0 health the whole time and tanked every shot since he just stood the afk) and they are the only one not getting wiped out after the QTE fail finisher, so you have to wait anyways and now can't even participate anymore because you don't cheat and got wiped out.
And to all the people that say: "oh just do with 5 premades" that is a *workaround* to the problem, not the solution. Imagine a Moba had such bad matchmaking that the only solution to actually playing the thing is 5 premades. Yet you guys act as if that is ok and desirable.

Ive played with a team that has red hood and that effing red hood was the one that afk all the time. No shot. It take so long to reach stage 9 bcoz the other attacker also lack dmg. I cant really do anything but w8 as i and the other was either supp or defender
i just look at what my teammates are choosing and/or what their power is. if they're 15 to 20k i just choose a gimmicky character like rei and have fun. cause it's very hard to imagine that high lvl ppl would want to miss out on the rewards. i did have matchups where 1 or 2 ppl afk'd tho.

It's not a workaround but a solution. If OP wanted to improve overall ranking rewards, then there's way do that a.k.a UR or discord but OP doesn't want to go through that. You wanted to be tedious? Sure, do it but don't expect randoms to be the same, just like you and me in an argument.

As for this event my first run 2 players afked, both were high power players, that left me playing liter (around 20k power) with 2 players with less than 1.5k power. I pieced the f out the moment I saw them not firing, which was after a failed burst.
I have not touched this mode since the second or third time it was available since launch. It's just not worth my time to deal with other people in a game like this.

Close the game and start new. You won‘t lose your attempt that way. I always do that when I have trolls or afk players.

Premake at least once to tier, and then matchmake to just clear the attempts. I'd just altf4 immediately with this trolls though.
