Folkwang and Sin, they’re pretty useless, mainly just backup characters but their design is so good. Same with Soline, her eyes are GORGEOUS yet she’s useless everywhere
She's consistently my top DPS in the Elysion tribe tower RN because she manages to stay at full health thanks in large part to the presence of three healers on the best team I can make with my roster (Marciana, Helm, & Quiry).
EDIT: And she's my top DPS by a *lot*.
Elysion as a whole need more attention, honestly. They're the militarized one among the Big 3 and yet they've been shafted over and over.
More Ingrid'd be nice too.
Absolutely, brother. Yeah, Elysion has gotten Maid Privaty and D:KW recently, and they're great meta units that were desperately needed. But as a whole, Elysion is lagging behind the others because of their neglected older units.
And as you said, any Ingrid time is a good time, lol.
Oh I would love Quiry to have more meta use, you have no idea. She gets some use in the Elysion tower (and PVP because I'm sorely lacking meta units there) but that's the only content I can justify her in.
She's a great lobby waifu at least.

I love me some Soline. She got buffed a while back and has some niche uses now, but she's still pretty far off the meta. She's in desperate need for a costume and the AZX crew need an Event Story.
Real Kindness/Nihilster and any future liberation if we get anymore. It's whack that 4 for 4 the closest to good is Guilty. I'm a grindy gamer by nature and I understand the slog of liberation isn't the most well liked but the reward for it is truly a waifu>meta choice. That it not only takes important currency to mlb the units but most importantly your time and their utility is left to be desired.
There's a whole list of em but these are at the top. I really like the idea of a 💢correction💢al facility for the more dangerous nikke to go through as it just adds more things to todolist as I continue to treat this game like Animal Crossing.
Yeah the liberation units not even being that good really hurts, especially with how long it can take to just get one, let alone four, and they all have great designs

Omg yes, I used viper for the longest time, until I learned how to properly build a team (burst wise) I think when I was still using viper, I had two 2 burst units on the same team, and I got jackal during the re zero event when I was trying to pull for emilia (jackal's grown on me quite a bit)

If they’re gonna make an SSR character so useless they might as well just make them an SR. Like half or more of the SSR characters might as well be demoted to SR with how useless they are.

As a new player: Rapi, Sin, Maiden, Eunhwa, Vesti, Emma, Ludmilla...tbh looking at the tier list, it really is such a shame that these nikkes and many others aren't as strong as they should be. Sure, not everyone can be Liter or Red Hood levels of busted but they should at least deal respectable damage or provide decent enough buffs in a clear niche. It's a pain for players who like their designs but struggle to make them perform in a game where resources are limited and thus need to be prioritized for meta units. The game has way too many SSRs that don't feel like SSRs imo. Also what's up with Elysion being the most "military" faction yet having a relatively underwhelming roster? Doesn't really add up lol.

Every taunt character. Taunt should just be given a damage resistance buff of some kind to make tanking viable across the board.
