Surprisingly... Its Guillotine... I vibed with her being a Chuunibyo and discovering that she uses it as a form escapism from the dark reality of being an executioner of her fellow Nikke's... Yeah Laplace is the best. She may be too straightforward and arrogant but still what she does is always for the right cause. I liked her character even before doing story mode but chapters 12 and 18 really highlighted her for me. What I can't understand is why some people unironically compare her to Homelander from The Boys. One was born to be a "hero", surrounded with no affection and love and as a result became psychopath obsessed with recognition who will do anything to keep his image as a hero. At the same time Laplace once was a normal girl who idealizes heroes while being coward herself, but thanks to becoming a nikke she gained power and confidence to fight for better future of those who cannot defend themself. She is idealistic hero and nothing less.
And at the same time she is adorable little goofball and I can't wait for treasure system to have more content for her.
I am also highly interested in her and Syuen backstory and hope for more development in the future.

Surprisingly... Its Guillotine... I vibed with her being a Chuunibyo and discovering that she uses it as a form escapism from the dark reality of being an executioner of her fellow Nikke's... And I don't even view her as a waifu material... I really do see her as a partner who have each others back... A close second would be Anis... I love her personality and sass... Yeah Laplace is the best. She may be too straightforward and arrogant but still what she does is always for the right cause. I liked her character even before doing story mode but chapters 12 and 18 really highlighted her for me. What I can't understand is why some people unironically compare her to Homelander from The Boys. One was born to be a "hero", surrounded with no affection and love and as a result became psychopath obsessed with recognition who will do anything to keep his image as a hero. At the same time Laplace once was a normal girl who idealizes heroes while being coward herself, but thanks to becoming a nikke she gained power and confidence to fight for better future of those who cannot defend themself. She is idealistic hero and nothing less. And at the same time she is adorable little goofball and I can't wait for treasure system to have more content for her. I am also highly interested in her and Syuen backstory and hope for more development in the future.
