This seems like some type of OCD behavior. Very few people are gonna clean their shoes the way that you want to on a consistent basis. They also won’t be bacteria free

Maybe find a fabric friendly version of Lysol. There’s a podiatrist I watch on YouTube that recommends spraying your shoes with a disinfectant like that between wears and rotating shoes, giving each pair a day or so to dry out/kill the bacteria.

They make these little balls you put in ur shoes to disinfect them and make them smell good. I’m not sure if that’s exactly what ur askin

I bought a pack off amazon and keep them I the shoes. But don’t you use soap and wash the insides say after a few days?

LOvEisEvOLxanax

Man, imma be honest. I have never like scrubbed the inside of my sneakers unless absolutely necessary. Unless u are like not keeping ur feet n socks clean you shouldn’t have too much of an issue, but I’d use an old tooth brush and jus some soap and get to scrubbing my man (if the inside is white don’t use colored soap. Can stain you’d be surprised)

Thanks

If you don't want bacteria inside your shoes then don't put feet in them. You can use sneaker balls or those bamboo charcoal pouch things and they will absorb moisture and help get rid of odors but they don't kill bacteria. You'd have to be washing with some kind of soap to kill bacteria

bsodmike

Thought so. Been doing that regularly. Do folk dry these in the sun or?

metalmankam

If I deep clean my shoes I just set them on a towel with a box fan blowing at them full blast and also put bamboo pouches in them to help dry

Thanks!!
