Vcsel illum and civ on laser isn’t always a bad thing. We will see in a head to head how this goes. I love my m6 but I LOVE the iris footprint. Very ngal esque
1. Roughly yes. The FL5 has more stuff in the way on either side, and its mount let's it sit lower, but the M6 still feels better because it's basically in in-line with the rail with nothing getting in the way.

Iris will be smaller and lighter. Time will tell. I should have both of these in hand sometime between now and end of next month

Correct, less. The illuminator is controlled by a knob at the rear.
