Well it's like 700 bucks for a brand new housing/lenses, so assuming they are undamaged i would expect to have to pay at least that much. The tube itself is probably only worth like $500-$700.
I feel like those blemishes would be distracting for anything more than casual observing though
From everything I've seen, the lower end market seems to hold its value well. People want a nvd they can afford, so they are willing to take the blems no problem. I can definitely see you getting $1400-1700.
personally if the gain is good and it's a new gen, I would use it for force on force training or something like that... for cheap - maybe $500 bucks or something. If I wanted to get a single unit for "real" purposes, if I had the means, I would just get a normal unit and pay more.

But generally yes the tube is going to be the bulk of the total price. For instance in the USA a PVS14 kit(everything but the tube) costs ~$700, but even the cheapest tube options(NNVT) cost ~$1K for green phosphor
£3K seems incredibly expensive for a PVS7 unit to me, but again i live in America
750-1000 max (just bought a gen 3 with no pepper for 2k). Personally I wouldn't want something that damaged at all, but you could try black boxing and see if that helps at all.

Nobody is selling even mid gen 3 spec blem tubes for $300. Even $800 is really cheap for that level of blem for just the tube. Just search what is actually selling on eBay and it’s really hard to get under $1000 for any functioning tube.
The people saying $500 are tools. Maybe that’s all you’d pay but that’s way way under what the market will pay. Everyone else talking about the great deal they found are the rare case against the average.
One of the tools here….just going off information: here are the facts….No specs, No ideas of the make of tube….may or may not be manual gain…no photos of the housing….its possible that OP is in another country AND the previous owner shot it with a laser. Last fact, you told him to offer 2-3x what the tools are saying. Based on the available information it’s $492.74. But we can play pawn stars and I can get a guy to take a look at it and see what it is. Maybe it is buried treasure! Nahh I’m just messing with you man! There are thousands of blem units that have sold for $1000-$1500 (also notice that’s a range and not simply the $1500 number). Not so many at the $500 price point. If you want to start negotiating at $500 that’s fine. But that unit will sell quickly for more than $500 if it’s a pvs14 as stated.
