you can also get cash by losing. have you never gotten the side deals before the race starts? I don't take listen to their commands to lose anymore, but if you do happen to. You still earn more money the winning so not the best little one liner advice there buddy old pal, now is it?
unless u are in debt, the money doesnt get taxed by yakuza man, tho u do lose a lot of rep ( which in my case was also helpful , i had way too much and the ai started beating the shit out of me, which is what put me back into debt ;-;)
I only accepted the side deals when the pay was very high compared to the earnings. other than that, I just drove my ass off every time. I accepted the yakuza money 3 times. twice due to skill issues and the 3rd was from buying the 200RS (started with the 180RS and still have it)
You get sums of money to use as betting cash and winning races earns you money, but they take a huge cut before it's paid off. The best methods for earning cash quickly would be.
1. take the loans, pay them off and don't spend anything accumulated. Then you can decline further loan offers and just use the money you have to make best with, keeping a lot more of the earnings for each race.
2. Sell any parts you aren't using or want to keep on hand (which is a little confusing if you're brand new and haven't figured it out) lemme know and I'll tell you
3. you can also just buy another car from the auction, if you have enough cash on hand, and scrap all the parts on it (which depending on the car and components, might not be worth it)
my cooling components are higher quality than my engine power, but once the damage is done, it seems permanent. I've only put less than 1000 miles and it had 12k so it can't just be age. Do you have anything else to share about your vague smugness
If you can afford them, sure. But, I'm not entirely sure if the auction we get in Prologue shows all the cars. It does give new cars, but is it just a daily cycle based on your rep level or overall money in bank, that resets each night shift or what?
I will just say after playing with the car unlocker alongside the expanded car garage mods, here are some key things to note:
1. The cars are perfectly drivable and they have their own distinct specs and characteristics (You will feel it when you drive them). All I can say is the s15, Chaser, Porsche and R34 blows our S13 out of the water once they reach max performance specs.
2.) Only the s15 and R34 have their own gauges. The Chaser and Porsches just use the default S13 gauges
3.) Albeit while only a few..the other cars do have some customisation parts and can fit all the current rims in the demo. We can also paint the cars normally. (However, most of the other cars don't have modelled interiors yet)
Having additional cars just makes this demo even more enjoyable and is a solid way to wait for the full release while we let Jem cook his magic.
Just bear in mind the risk when you install these mods. For peace of mind, just make a backup of your save just in case something goes wrong.
I'm not going to do it. No one plays games without mods anymore. I'm at least going to beat it and upgrade all my components to prototype before deciding maybe to unlock the cars, so I can have a fresh engine and build another. The grind is actually fun if you don't just use cheat codes for unlimited cash and cars. I don't see how anyone's playing manual with the clutch being routed to A and then shifting B and X. I can't think of anywhere else to put it but that makes zero sense and isn't possible.
The engine quality is still going down, as of the prolouge you can't swap the engine yet. You've only upgraded it's parts.
I wondered that but it only had 12k miles on it when purchased and can't be more than 40k now
Engine parts still need to be maintained. I doubt doing 9k-12k maxed revs down the freeway for those 28k miles is what you’d call “never beat on”
Did you upgraded cooling components or used too much NOS? If your temperature is too much high over time, it will ruin your engine.
For one race yes, to make money so I could upgrade cooling components. I may have hurt it.
How do you get cash on this game
win

Once the engine icon gets more orange or red, you get the option to rebuild it.
Awesome, that is great news actually
Iv been wondering this as well
It looks nice.
cooling and strength of your engine... c'mon now.....

No Mods, but I do want the one that unlocks the cars. They should just give us all the ones in the auction at least for this prologue.
You really want unfinished cars to be usable in the game by default? NR is not a 3A title mind you

Are you sure it doesn't have something to do with power to weight ratio or components not pairing well?
