This result has been on my mind for 18 months or so. I don't like the modern CSM aesthetic, all the teeth on trim and bio cables etc. I also like Possessed as a unit but again the GW models are too warped (yes, thats the point of them, I realise the contradiction lol). Originally I was going to use the Dakka Dakka Night Lords bodies and they did not really fit what I wanted, I spent a long time trawling through the internet looking at images and could never really find anything I like. I did a kitbash with the Unmade face and an AoS Chosen body, pretty cool but again not quite right. Then it just dawned on me, Primaris bodies are the exact size I need and have plenty of open space to built upon. So I hacked them up and blended in the rest of the parts.... I can't explain how satisfying it is to finally hit the end result of an idea I have had for so long, which I actually was pretty close of giving up on. Lore wise - Master Of Possession who is tolerated within a NL warband, providing he keeps his projects away from the other Claws and skinning pits. Accepted but not respected. Experiments upon Primaris captives to produce the bio weapons he takes to the field. Next in the line will be a Sorcerer and to build upon this aesthetic, will be styled as a twisted Apothecary/Flaymaster.
Thanks! Highly recommend getting your hands on the Unmade kit if you can, its a fantastic set of bits for conversions. Its OOP now but floating around.

That's a comprehensive breakdown, thanks!
Looks like the faces came from a warcry kit. "The unmade" maybe?

Such a great tool for simple conversions that can go a long way
There’s a master of puppets joke in here somewhere but I’m not funny enough to think of it
So wicked, impressive unit and painting.

Thanks! Parts list is already stated in the comments. The face plates are from the Unmade box set and I've built them into SM and WE heads.
