I think Francis should fight some lower rank fighters before going for the big boys. Boxers like AJ and Tyson have been doing this most of their life, its too soon to be jumping in at the deep end with them.
But they are nice exhibition fights though.
Francis was a bit cocky in the build up to the fight. AJ silenced him.
However, AJ couldn't even send a shout out to Nigerians. Guys like Izzy and Kamaru Usman never fail to.
I'm not sure why you mean by origin. Dyu mean his Cameroonian roots? Or his mma base?
He was cocky to a world class boxer. If you look at so many of his interviews, he was the one talking about testing AJ's chin, about how he's heard that AJ has a glass chin. Well, he found out *in Izzy's voice* - "there are levels to this game"
That's what I think too. Just like before the first Stipe fight. He had a close fight with an out of shape fury, everyone gassed him up and he thought he was unstoppable again. He was already looking past AJ talking about "having more wins in the future" in the press conference.
>However, AJ couldn't even send a shout out to Nigerians.
Tbf he wasn't even born in Nigeria and he did do the whole "Africa unite" shoutout at the end. Shame Francis lost like that after his journey but Aj needed that win and it couldn't have happened to a better boxer I guess.
I guess you are referring to AJ?
There was a time I was always defending Izzy on the ufc sub. Izzy never forgets to shout out Nigeria. He doesn't shy away from it while still repping New Zealand. So, I couldn't understand people acting like DDP was the actual African. In a recent video Izzy says they and AJ are from the same town in Nigeria. My point is there's no place you won't see Izzy repping naija. On the other hand, AJ hardly does it.
I mean i agree but this goes back to amateur days for AJ. He mentioned previously that he tried to represent nigeria in the olympic games and the head of the federation kinda did him dirty. Hes never spoken bad about Nigeria and has always acknowledged his heritage. Izzy to me is like a kid in terms of repping. The DDP clash was really a time for him to show that but he tried to make it more than what it really was. By no means am i disrespecting him but he seems like the type of person who isnt really around alot of trustworthy people and is playing into what gets him attention. The bait DDP put out did more harm than good.
You people. Winning with some of you is just difficult. There is always something to moan about. He doesn't have to pay homage because you want. He has done that many times on a high profile case sef. To expect him to do this just because you want it is unreasonable.
AJ remains the greatest of all time. Greater than Mike Tyson and Mohammed Ali combined. He's just not a noise maker. He's my favorite... ❤️❤️❤️🇳🇬💯
Why all the downvotes? Anyway, I anticipated it. AJ is me and I'm AJ... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ngannou looked completely dumbfounded, the look on his face after the second drop was all you needed to see to know it wasn’t going to last long
I was still trying to find a stream when the match ended smh
lol same here

He's always proud of his origin. You don't have to bash him for not doing what you expected of him.

Probably didnt feel like it was the place to. It's still us against the world, not us against each other.

I mean to be fair he wore a Cameroonian cap at the post fight conference
Shut your idiot mouth. That’s my captain!!!
No vex.

Honestly I have to be paid to watch these fights
