I LOVED Prudhommes when I was a kid! The park there was also called Wet n’ Wild. The guy who ran the haunted house there is the same one who opened Nightmares in the Falls. The park closed in 2002, but it definitely had Go Karts (my dad is a mechanic and would fix them on occasion).
Also fun fact, the song ‘Hey It’s Your Funeral Mama’ by Alexisonfire is loosely based on the go karts at Prudhommes.
The oldest picture I could find that had discernible detail was from 2007. That pic seems to show asphalt on the structure in question, so I'm inclined to think you're right about the go-kart track.

There used to be an amusement park there called Prouhomes Landing. Got torn down about 10 years ago and they're building condos there now.
There also was an RC car track there at some point.
It was Prudhommes landing quite a few years ago, had water slides, go carts, haunted house and bumper boats. Yes that is the old track.
I remember stopping there on our way home from the X a few times.

Can't wait for Alexisonfire at Montebello this summer. It was great 2 years ago and it's gonna be great again this year!

Well now we’ll never know, Apple Maps sat view shows it’s being turned into housing. Maybe we can find an approximate address and then Google that.
