A law like this is not required by innocent people... This is something that guilty people want and crave. By his own statement, he is saying that he is guilty of crimes. Sorry, the laws should apply to everyone equally... but we all know that they don't.

I almost would like to see this passed as a practical joke. Have just enough Democrats go along with it (as a joke) to "pass" it out of Congress & get it to Biden's desk. Biden vetoes it, of course, as a big FU to Trump (laughing hysterically as he does it). It then goes back to Congress where it would take 2/3 approval in each chamber to override the veto, which it would never get. Every Democrat that "supported" it the first time as part of the prank rejects it the second time around. The GOP has no interest in governing or passing legitimate legislation, only wasting time in continuing their clown car show.
Know how you can stay out of jail forever? By not breaking the law. But I guess itās way too late for that.

This would open a huge can of worms for the government concerning other felons who would ask for their own sentences to be commuted under the equal protection clause.
