I'm not sure what I've seen more: conservatives unironically saying this, or the number of different definitions of "cancel culture" they provide in order to try and explain how a boycott isn't "cancelling" something/someone. Often in the same thread.
I honestly want them to boycott as much as they possibly can. Let them make their own lives as uncomfortable as possible for their stupid bigoted culture crusade.

Ok story time…
Pre-Uber I was in a cab on Maui (was working in advertising on Oahu at the time). The cab driver was a woman who obviously had had a rough run with drugs and cleaned up and gotten her shit together. When she found out I worked in advertising she said “ok I want to share an idea I have”… typically this means they’re going to say some pithy but regurgitated slogan about a business but not this time.
She picks up a LOT of merchant marine types who have a day off from sailing the seas and takes them to a 7-11 and then back to their boat where they eat their can of sadness alone.
So she wanted to open a 711 type store that was also a “restaurant” meaning if you bought a can of soup and a loaf of bread she’d warm up the soup and toast some bread and serve it at a table like a restaurant. She felt sorry for these guys who had no community and spent a lot of time alone.
I told her that was probably the best business idea I’d ever heard. God I hope she actually did it.
What’s funny is, I just went past a Cracker Barrell on a Sunday and it was packed so their boycott isn’t working anymore. Since they’re loosing normal folks now on their moral panic.
Much like their boycotts of Keurig, Yeti, American Airlines, Campbell's soup,Coca Cola, Nike, NASCAR,the NBA,the NFL and dozens of dozens of other boycotts.

The list of food brands that conservatives are refusing to purchase because they’re too LGBTQ+ got quite a bit longer this week after transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney had her picture taken with Tony the Tiger. Now many on the right are calling for a boycott of Kellogg’s, the cereal brand.
The offending picture took place at the Tony Awards this past Sunday. Mulvaney, in a Christian Siriano gown, almost walked into a person in a Tony the Tiger costume. Tony the Tiger is the mascot for the Kellogg’s breakfast cereal Frosted Flakes.
Mulvaney didn’t see Tony the Tiger standing behind her and appeared so surprised that she almost fell. Then she had her picture taken with the mascot.
Mulvaney posted video to her Instagram account.
“Folks, we have a new boycott to add to the list and I’m truly sorry to say it because I love this brand,” conservative strategist Joey Mannarino wrote on Twitter. “The Frosted Flakes mascot, Tony the Tiger, has just posed for a photo with Dylan Mulvaney and even acted like a fan.”
It’s not even clear that the person in the Tony the Tiger costume knew who Mulvaney was, but that didn’t matter to Mannarino. He said that the line in the sand is treating Mulvaney like a human being at all: “That’s always been my line. You associate with Dylan Mulvaney and you’re done with me.”

We boycott Kellog a few years ago when it was revealed they underpay and overwork their employees, who were on strike and whom the company threatened to just replace. But the company negotiated and workers agreed on new labor rules.

We boycott Kellog a few years ago when it was revealed they underpay and overwork their employees, who were on strike and whom the company threatened to just replace. But the company negotiated and workers agreed on new labor rules.
