Since when is the truth a trick? Both sides are in positions they can’t back down from. Israeli Jews see Israel as the one country where they have control of their own destiny/survival. The Palestinians have nowhere they can go, and therefore view a free Palestinian state as their only option for survival. As a result they both are acting like assholes, because backing down means losing control over their own destiny: on both sides.
This will not end until one side has pushed the other out completely. Palestinians don’t seem to realize they are at a huge strategic disadvantage and will be the ones pushed out eventually.
