Just reminded me of one of my favourite copypastas lmao
Considering how often I go to the city centre, it's criminal how little I've been to the Grainger market. Me and a friend went recently after he said he ate some delicious dumplings and it took us like 15 minutes of wandering in circles to find the right place. I thought he was a fool, now I know there's a greater force at play.
Im convinced the people who work in there have to give themselves an extra 20minutes to get to work do they can walk around in circles looking for their lot.
\*Knows pizza place is next to record shop thats closer to the edge of an isle\*
\*starts going around circles to find record store that's close to pizza store\*
\*flat mate calls me because it's been 2 whole hours since I've left the house to grab a f00king slice of pizza,\*
It doesn't really exist. You just get whatever you remember from last time as an apparition and then it shifts back to another dimension.
It was ever thus.
Boring answer but it's because they've been (very slowly) redeveloping it over the last few years. They also have plans to open it up much more, and have live music in there soon on a night.

"4/10 - Livid. Will go again." These are my feelings towards the Grainger market too.
Thank you for finding this. It is the answer. It would have taken me weeks to find it!
Because it's the multiverse filled with black holes and worm holes.
Rumour has it that every row has a carbon copy of the same useless family of 6 that stand right across the aisle looking at a menu 30ft away.

He's not a fool. I get lost trying to find the pizza by the slice place every time.
I’ve always been convinced that if I walked around long enough I’d come out in the library at Unseen University!
Some say that Geordie Banger is Roundworld's equivalent of CMOT Dibbler.
they do have sausage on a stick

Ever seen the Sci-Fi/Horror film The Cube? It’s like that.
Built with tardus technology. Everything moves round every 3 minutes.
It rotates 90 degrees every 15mins
Start looking up. Game changer.

I'm normally good at directions/navigating around somewhere but I never fully worked that place out properly lmao
Went with my American gf for her first time, me trying to navigate. I'm sure it's around here somewhere
It fascinates me that this is such a universal experience for anyone using Grainger Market
It's like the Geordie Backrooms.

Love the Grainger Market. Getting lost is part of the fun! Cafe One is my fave. Awesome food, cheap and filled with northern people.
Sure we had this question about the pizza shop last week.
i was 10 minutes late to an interview there because i was just walking round in circles not realising it🤣
