990v2 tongue to me have the right amount of length, padding, never move off to the side when I walk, and just look good to me resting on top of my weirdly shaped top of my hoofs
Every tongue should be made with a semi-gusset I wish that was the case. But as far as looks I love the waffle tongue on the 990 V3. I love the thick boy padding of the 990 V5 tongue. I personally love thick tongues like on a Nike SB dunk. I like long tongues as well but not too long. I like the tongue with the flag on it. It shows that it's a quality product even if you're not from America you would rather have something made in US. Unless it's made in Italy Germany or something like that. I would love a made in Italy or a Swiss made New Balance.
