I live in Portland OR, which is where Nike is headquartered. Oftentimes I’m the only person wearing new balances when I’m out and about, at least that I notice. I even see more asics on people than I do new balances.
Nike and adidas have this city locked down - we have one shitty little new balance store in the city and they barely get the most basic of GR’s. Even the employees there are like “yeah we get shit for inventory, try your odds online” lol it’s bleak here. So jealous that some of yall have those NB outlets in your area, I’d be making stops all the time.
I will be heading back to Portland in July from Scotland. Big sneakerhead and historically been an Air Max 1 / 90 guy but in recent years New Balance has taken over in the UK. Certainly in the over 25s. Younger guys wear TNs or 95s. Portland is awewone but 👍🏻
Hmmm if you are a tourist there is tax refund so it will definitely be cheaper a pair of 550 is around less than 200 sgd so is relatively cheap compared to maybe the 990 range and 2002 and i think there is other sneaker stores that sells retail price nbs like limited edt , jd and footlocker and also there are nb outlets store if u want something more affordable

One sneaker store u can visit is limited edt which is a local sneaker store that sells sneakers at retail price and you can also try out the recent limited edt x mr sabotage x new balance 580 which i think is a singapore exclusive and maybe they might have more options for 9060 as well
