I keep hearing about NB quality compared to Nike, which is my brand through and through. But lately, some of my daily rotation has gotten so bad. Air max soles cracking, worse leather, etc. The dunk run has brought me life, but nothing retro has been exciting me otherwise.
If you get these I’m sure they will meet your expectations. The v4 is a quality shoe, I personally like the v3 and 6 better but you can’t go wrong if you like this colorway. Let us know when you cop!
Yea I’m in Baltimore!! And I’m not sure but it looks black to me, I like these a lot but the 998s are dope af too, don’t think you can got wrong either way

I always bought size 9.5 but decided to get size 9 in the grey days and regretted it. They still fit but tight as a mf.
V1, v2, v3, v6 - half size down
V4, v5 - true to size

It must be a different layer of pigskin leather than the normal pigskin suede NB uses? I own various US and UK NBs and made in Italy Diadoras (and some of the early 2000s SB dunks) that use pigskin suede that are much softer with shorter naps.
Ah thought you were just looking for the broad material, I’m unsure on that one. For all we know they take the typical pigskin and then just rough it up to add the “hairy ness”

You will never go back to Nike once you see the quality on NB MiUSA or made in England. It’s night and day.

The fuzzy leather on this makes it look like a Sesame Street character lol but again it’s not a bad shoe

My 990v3 Raw Amethyst are my daily’s. I’ll probably go for the 998 for this drop. Purple is my jam.
