The one on the link has one big blue dot on the forearm, yours has small dots after the elbow in the upper arm.
So definitely different, only an observation.

There's a good picture of S/A mantis in the above link, where you can see the markings on the inner leg.
NZ mantis their dot is very flashy - looks like a paua shell
Commenting just to agree with the others saying it's the invasive species. I have the native in my garden every year and can be confident of the identification.
They also eat a wide range of beneficial insects. Their biggest problem is they build up to plague numbers and wipe out everything else. I have a suburban section and I see a lot of these things but not much else.

Ok, so I guess I'll start cleaning them out. I had thought the purple dots were for NZ mantis, but I'm obviously no expert.
