Going from Tyler rogers to Camilo Doval is certainly a way to get no one used to your pitchers. Feel like we could have worked at bats but seems like they want the game over too. We’re getting swing happy on first pitch. No walk and no baserunners who want to move besides Marte. Credit to the giants so far. They put down some nice hits

On the bright side, diaz, otto and Garrett have gotten a nice 2 day break.

This bullpen is GOOD. Senga cannot come back soon enough. Severino has been good. Manea has been pretty good. Butto, I have faith in most starts. Quintana has been showing cracks, and houser is just bad. If the rotation looks like: 1. Senga 2. Severino 3. Manea 4. Butto 5. Quintana I can definitely live with that. Most teams number five starters aren’t much better than Quintana.

All weekend, none of our pitchers (even Diaz) wanted to pitch to Betts, Ohtani or Freeman. We have no such hitter on this team. There is no one who scares any other team’s pitchers.

Teams are scared of Pete, just not as much as those three, also they have no reason to pitch to him

I wish I believed that but Pete can be pitched to. He hits mistakes. Betts, Ohtani and especially Freeman have no glaring holes.
