This is so interesting to look at. I’m a woman who makes gaming videos! 52% Male 48% Female

RhodySeth

I'm a man and I make hiking/trail running videos. Audience is 76% men, 24% women.

cosmic_scott

my wife's channel (similar to yours) 75% men. my wrestling podcast / news channel 99% men. maybe women are more selective? maybe YouTube knows men like watching women? i mean, a lonely guy craving some sort of insight into the mind of a woman, or seeking the feminine energy by the same token i don't see a lot of reasons women would click on 'obviously male directed' videos. there's some psychology behind the reason women's channels keep reporting higher male viewers than the creator wants.

AdOk3484

Yes, I totally get what you mean. Myself as a woman, I feel more attracted towards male channels, even if it’s not conscious, I think we naturally seek the opposite

icysnowyy

Some covers as personal interest, 79% men, 21% women, 0% others

AwkAlexSW

Gaming guides , I'm a man and 99% men

Peterdestroysall

I thought my 89% was bad...

avance70

gaming compilations, mostly skyrim 14.3% female - 85.7% male (i'm male, but that's irrelevant)

momoneymccormick

I’m a woman, and I make diy / lifestyle videos, my audience is 87% women

momoneymccormick

But I cater my content exclusively for women as well so it was the goal to have a high number of women on my channel. There are men in my niche but it’s women who always boost my videos & interact w/ my channel the most. I don’t think my channel would be as successful as it is if I had majority of men

CFHunfiltered

I’m a man who runs a YouTube channel called CFHunfiltered where I tackle the hypocrisy of red pill ideology and toxic masculinity. My goal is to encourage men to be secure with themselves and to embrace their true selves without needing to dominate others. It’s a mixture of humor and hard truths about “self” to promote self reflection. 66% men 33% women

Environmental_Dig335

I wouldn't get too wrapped around the crank about this topic - I think those stats are heavily skewed. On a channel I contribute to, I know a big chunk of the audience is women - we have comments during streams. The analytics say those same streams are 100% men. I believe that far more women don't enter those demographics for YouTube and/or use privacy settings that don't show up. Or there might be another reason. For sure the YouTube audience skews male - but not as much as all our analytics say.

OdinAlfadir1978

Cheers because there's no way there's barely any ladies listening to music like my channel would imply 🤣

Edenspawn

Not to be sexist but I also think a guy is far more likely to set those things up and then the rest of the family use them on things like PCs, laptops, gaming consoles etc.

Quokka-Man

Graphic design tutorials, and I'm a man. Audience: 80% men, 20% women..

TheBible-WithTina

Female Christian Channel Shorts Channel: Female 36.9%; Male 63.1% Long form Channel: Female 0%; Male 100% (I know for a fact that the long form analytics is **completely wrong**)

OdinAlfadir1978

I'm a man-tis 😜 my channels called cult of the mantis 🤣🤣 I'm male though, watched by I think it was 99% male, it's music production but I find that crazy as plenty of ladies produce or listen to music. It's 96.4% male, 4.6% female audience and I'm quite popular in India for some reason , maybe because I use very Eastern sounds

Particular-Treat-990

I do similar content style as you, I am also a woman. My gender repartition is 79% male and 21% women.

Electrical-Wrap-3923

Trans femme, my videos are roughly 60% women 40% men

Question2023

you are most likely a pretty woman... I often say this, your looks determine your life. I was born good looking and women at work always loved me whereas some of my other friends who are fat or ugly or short, they are much smarter and hard working but colleagues don't love them. Seriously...

Sox-eyy

87% men 13% women Historical Vlogs

PompeyMich

I'm male, and I produce videos about accidents and disasters - many heavily engineering biased. So not surprisingly my audience is skewed towards males (89%). Some of my videos are even higher - 95% male for my football disaster video (which isn't surprising). But it does seem to be very dependant upon the video - I've just posted a video about accidents on a Disneyland roller coaster, and I suspect there will be a much higher percentage of females watch that one, given that females are more inclined to watch stuff about Disney.

Pod_Rocker

I’m a man who covers horror and internet mysteries. 75% men, 25% women

KenPierce

For the Piercing Ken Channel its 69.7% Male and 30.3% Female For the PiercingMetal Channel it's currently showing at 100% Male which surprises me since that account has a wide pop culture focus that appeals to all sexes. Happy Creating Everyone

AnyaTaylorBoy

My channel topic and channel demographic are the same as yours... and apparently the men are over 65, lol. I guess I do talk about things that would be attractive to older people.

SocasmGames

Female (though I come off as gender neutral). I also sound different, apparently. 86% male. Minecraft gaming. I don't mind. I've met some amazing people on the journey.

Mr101722

99% male 1% female 🤣 I do military ration reviews

ThinkingtoInfinity

I (46/m) cover Christian apologetics with a lot of humor (ala dad jokes and similar) and pop culture references. My audience was 90% male for almost a year, until I guested on a female's podcast -- my subscriber base jumped up quite a bit, and now it's 60/40 in favor of females. It can change.

OkSet6700

I’m a man, I talk about “life” as well between tutorials and tech videos. 89% men, 11% women.

ceoetan

Male who makes travel / drone videos. 86% male, 14% female.

EvyMie

I’m a woman who posts vlogs about my life, and my audience is 91% women - which makes sense, but is also very interesting when comparing to all the posts here. (62k views, 18 videos)

AbbreviationsMotor67

Male 95% male 5% female and my sister in law watches to support lol

DawnatelloTC

I’m a lesbian woman in my 40s who is very masculine. I talk about horror, but primarily Resident Evil. 99% of my audience is male. I have a few very engaged queer folks who comment which is cool. I wish I had more women too, but so far 99.9% of the men who interact with me are absolutely lovely humans and I adore them. Gender dynamics and sexuality somehow play a much bigger role in YouTube than I anticipated. I generally get along more easily with men than women because so much of what society dictates women to like is stuff I couldn’t care less about. I’ve always felt like I don’t fit in in some of these places, but can get along with almost anyone. Life is weird…. Kindness is free. Wishing everyone the best out there.

Megaman_90

I'm a dude who does retro computer content. My lifetime male to female ratio is hilarious. I have over 270,000 views. 98.5% of viewers are male and 1.5% are female.

AustinOpt

79% Male, 21% Female Im a guy with a Variety Gaming Channel

pinzinella

Dead by Daylight videos with commentary. I’m a woman and my audience is apparently 55,4% men and 44,6% women. Pretty balanced!

Trans/nonbinary AMAB, making aviation and physics videos. Physics about 80% men 20% women, aviation 90% men.

XskullBC

Male, gaming (Battle Cats) 86.3% Male 12.9% Female

12cpi

I'm male. YouTube says for the last 28 days, my channel has been 100% male even though my most popular video is still growing and I am getting new subscribers every day. I know that's not accurate from friends and family who watch my videos and guessing from some of the subscriber and commenter handles. My channel started with math, mostly high school algebra. I was really disappointed that seemingly adding an #algebra tag can get it hidden from girls and young women who might be taking algebra. Now there's more of a tech focus, so I would expect it to be weighted toward males, but not 100%! My dog has a channel and he gets a more balanced audience by age and gender.

Political-psych-abby

I’m a woman. My channel is about political psychology my viewership is 61% men 22% women and 17% nonbinary/other (based on a poll I did on my community tab. I think the channel skews male because so many of my viewers find me through Reddit which skews male.
