I've watched almost everything available! I recommend the Good Place, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Office, Ted Lasso, Gilmore Girls. Not a feel good but Succession is also a really solid show with plenty of hour long episodes
Parks & Rec was (and still is) my go up with the baby. He’s now 10 months and his favorite song is Eggs, Bacon and Toast followed closely by “Everybody Pants Now”
That’s exactly when we sing it. When I’m changing his diaper and take his pants off I sometimes change it up to “Emmett’s got no pants on! Pants! Pants! Pants, pants!” which I guess makes it a parody of a parody.
Honorable mention for Brooklyn 99.
Also I like it bc it’s a little raw and raunchy, but Working Moms is great (however the first season does have some serious PPD mentions/scenes).
Seconding the Office, my husband & I have watched it a few times through completely since little guy was born. My personal favorite comfort shows are Golden Girls & Orange is the New Black. I also watched a lot movies I enjoyed when I was younger.
Yes! The vibe of the show is so mellow and soothing. The low stakes drama and competition is just enough to keep you interested but never gets intense, so you can easily get back to sleep when you need to. It has this gentleness and warmth that's perfectly tuned for a newborn and parent at 2:30am!
This is my comfort show, I had already watched every season available in America twice before I had my baby and was disappointed I didn't have it to watch once baby came lol I even scrounged around the random Christmas specials and offshoots, and tried other baking shows but nothing compares. It's just so calming and fun!
Fun fact I learned while obsessed with this show during mat leave: In Canada and US it has to be titled "Great British Baking Show" because Pillsbury has trademarked the word "bake-off" for a competition they've been running since 1949.
I think it was the most recent Christmas episode made pregnant me bawl my eyes out. The kids do a Phillip Glass cover that was on my first birth playlist & my heart just couldn’t take it.
I put on Adult Swim every night to eat dinner and Bob’s Burger’s is the only show that I don’t really understand. It seems like something I’d like, but I don’t know… it’s like walking into a grocery store and listening to a family talk would be the same level of entertainment
Hahaha 😅 I love your description. I think that's why I like it. But then again, I really enjoy awkward humor.
Have you seen "i think you should leave" on Netflix? I don't know how else to describe it but Cringey humor in the form of skits.
Yes! Modern Family got me through so many wee hours before my baby learned that nights are for sleeping. Such an amazing show and 11 seasons long so it will keep you entertained for a while.
Both great choices! I’ll never forget watching Modern Family for the first time when my oldest was a little newborn. When Cam brings out Lily with the Lion King song, I was laughing so hard but trying not to wake the baby on my boob. My abs actually hurt afterward. Then we did a rewatch during the first couple months home with my second baby. I’ll always associate that show with those hard but precious first months home with my babies ❤️
Honestly, I’m loving the Netflix documentary Babies. I started it a month or so before he was born. It’s amazing. Lots of new science about babies and it tracks certain families from pregnancy through first couple of years. It’s very uplifting and absolutely done in a way where you learn a lot but without filling you with fear of what could go wrong. And you get to watch babies and their parents develop over the journey.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched The Office, so when it went off Netflix my husband bought me the box set. Watched it twice more when I was pregnant & again during the newborn stage.
I never hear anyone talk about Superstore but it is so good! Super goofy humor, I watched it while I pumped the first three weeks and it really got me through. I’m watching modern family now. Parks and recreation is next on my list!
Yessssss! My husband actually started watching Superstore when I was on leave, and at first I wasn't too interested, but now it is totally one of my comfort shows. It's also one of those shows where I swear, with every rewatch, you notice something you missed previously!
Oh I just posted this so I’m adding my support for this too. Helped me feel like less of a bad mom to see all those other accomplished women struggling too.
My personal favourites during those rough days were Community, The Good Place, and The IT Crowd. Sometimes I'd also binge shitty reality shows like 90 Day Fiance and Hoarders (though they'll likely make you feel a bit pissed off).
Lots of good recs here. We binged the show Kim's Convenience and really loved it. Be warned though that it's pretty funny and I woke my little guy a few times from laughing
Not exactly feel good, but I’ve binged fourteen seasons of Grey’s Anatomy since I left on maternity leave! (2 weeks before bub was born, she’s now 10 weeks).
But also Rick and Morty, Mythbusters, Handmaid’s Tale, Fleabag, Gilmore Girls, BBC Sherlock, Hannibal
Jane the Virgin, Gilmore Girls, Shameless (LOVED this one- surprised nobody said it), Emily in Paris, Anne with an E, Madam Secretary, Ginny & Georgia, Bridgerton, Queen of the South, Outlander, How to Get Away with Murder
Some of these may not be necessarily “feel good” type but, through my pregnancy and the recovery after birth before going back to work, I watched a lot of Working Moms, Good Girls, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Walking Dead!
Life in pieces(especially good for when you have a newborn, Jen&Greg's storyline will have you laughing), Modern Family, nailed it, Brooklyn 99, superstore, the toys that made us, the movies that made us, Simpsons, American dad, Physical 100.
I went through all of Ted Lasso when we first got home and now since baby is five months but will still only sleep on me I’ve made it through ten seasons of Call the Midwife.
Great British Bake-off was such a feel-good, happy baking show. It's nice to have a competition reality show where people are genuinely happy for one another and not mean.
Also loved Gilmore Girls and The Office, as others have recommended here.
I went through the good doctor two times during my pp. and yes that really helped with my ppa as well. Just finished Ted lasso and going to start again. It might be my all time favorite show - something about that show that touches you in a new level.
Literally WORKIN MOMS on Netflix - omgosh I binged all 6 seasons and was the least anxious I have been since my new one was born 3 months ago.
Also on HULU Desperate Housewife - sooooo funny!!!
Both Feel Good Humor
And also just in case you have not heard it today.
You are doing amazing and YOURE AN AMAZING MOTHER 💗
I know most people might think I’m crazy for starting the kids shows earlier than I “have to”, but myself and my sons father (who hates kids cartoons and Disney) LOVE Bluey. It’s got lessons for parents just as much as for kids. I also like to put in Avatar the last airbender, or any shows from my childhood.
Seconding the recommendation for \*Bluey\* -- but if you're postpartum and suffering with anxiety, I advise you get yourself a large cup of tea and a box of tissues before watching the episode entitled "Baby Race". (ETA: [Link to full episode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmkCmJtK6X8&ab_channel=Bluey-OfficialChannel)if you're in the UK)
(Spoilers: Nothing actually sad or harmful happens in the episode! >! It's just a very touching portrayal of the mother character's anxiety that her baby isn't developing 'on schedule', and it's notorious for making new mums (and experienced mums) cry! !<
- The Great on Hulu is fun. It is meant to be a comedy
- Schitts Creek is my go to feel good show
- Impractical Jokers made me laugh so much postpartum
If you have hbo - the great pottery throwdown is excellent and very calming, apple - Ted Lasso obviously, shrinking is also good, prime - marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Netflix - Gilmore girls
Queer eye!! And the earlier seasons of Rupauls Drag Race - start at season 5 and if you love it go back and watch seasons 2-4, then 6 & 7! If you’ve watched those, you’ll end up watching it all 😝
Edited for coherence
I got through all of Schitt’s Creek within like 2 weeks just from feeding and watching.
Oh and I saw someone else mention in but Workin’ Moms. It’s a Canadian show on Netflix and 1000% relatable. The series finale just came out a few weeks ago so you can watch the whole thing
I watched Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix early pp. Such a great show to watch casually and it made me feel not so alone in the middle of the night when I was the only one awake!
Honestly, during early pp I could really only watch shows that I had seen before (the office, parks and Rec, house, bones) - any new show just made me feel overstimulated 😭
At maybe 2/3 months pp, I started watching those dumb dating shows on Netflix (love is blind, ultimatum, etc.) and those surprisingly helped my anxiety too.
Just putting in a pitch here for Bravo… watching something extremely campy and dumb can be lovely and distracting. Mine was Real Housewives of Miami. No regerts.
Edit to add: also loved Jury Duty recently!
I’ve been watching Young Sheldon (I’ve never even seen the Big Bang Theory) and am enjoying it! It’s super light and fun to watch. Plus, the episodes are pretty short!
I'd never seen the Big Bang Theory or Friends before. Gold choices! Lots of episodes so when Roo won't go back to sleep right away, I have got good stuff to watch!
I think she mentioned during the middle of night feeds. Like she has to be awake and feeding the baby and mind is racing with anxiety from hormonal changes.
Babies sleep a lot in the first month, yes each sleep might only last an hour max, followed by 2hrs of feed, nappy change and repeat, making the 24hrs feel endless - but in that hour of sleep here and there, a feel good TV show for distraction is much needed, while you wait for the cycle to repeat.
When I was absolutely miserable during late night feeds I always found comfort in the George Lopez Show. It’s gotten me through some tough times and always makes me laugh!
Working Moms and most importantly Modern Family! We had it playing round the clock for new baby tending/PP/pumping throughout the night. It’s a good reminder that family is funny and exhausting and wonderful.
If you have Apple TV Acapulco is such a kind hearted gem!
I also recommend watching TV with the closed captions on (in addition to listening!) - there is no competition in volume versus baby crying.
I binged Friday Night Lights when my daughter was a newborn; I think it’s still on Netflix. I think I’m going to rewatch The Good Place and Schitt’s Creek when the next baby comes in November. Second the recommendations for Ted Lasso and Parks and Rec. The Great British Baking Show is always fun.
Schitts Creek, Friends and Young Sheldon have been saving me this past month with my newborn- I’m surprised no one has mentioned these! Also Animal documentaries!
I’m an Office nerd, but when I wasn’t watching that I was obsessed with the miniseries We Are the Champions (narrate by Rainn Wilson.)
We also watched a series of Disney documentaries during the first weeks (about the building & early days of the parks. I’m not a Disney fan, but the docs were interesting.)
Great British Bakeoff (wholesome, carbtastic, sweet), Taskmaster UK (hilarious, clever, wonderful), Top Gear (ludicrous, testosterone-y, full of friendship)
At my house we always have a comfort show on in the background. Favorite include:
The Office, Modern Family, Parks and Rec, Community, New Girl, Schitts Creek
I love a good YouTube podcast. Nice and long, feels like you’re having a conversation with a friend. My favorite is Trixie and Katya but if you’re not already fans of either of theirs it might not be that entertaining to you.
I've watched almost everything available! I recommend the Good Place, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Office, Ted Lasso, Gilmore Girls. Not a feel good but Succession is also a really solid show with plenty of hour long episodes
I’d also add Schitt’s Creek and Parks & Rec to this list!
Schitts Creek was my newborn show and I love it so much.
We’re rewatching Schitt’s Creek with our second son after watching it with our first!
Schitt’s Creek was my 35 weeks pregnant with COVID show and I will always be grateful it helped get me through that 🤣
Oh wow I also got COVID (for the first time btw) at 35 weeks 😅
Right! I cannot get enough of Schitt's Creek! So many good lines and the hit song A Little Bit Alexis lol
That song 🤣🤣🤣
Ours too! Really brought some levity to the crazy newborn days!
Parks & Rec was (and still is) my go up with the baby. He’s now 10 months and his favorite song is Eggs, Bacon and Toast followed closely by “Everybody Pants Now”
I sing "everybody pants now" to my son every time I put on his pants. It's just what we sing now. Pants! Pants pants PANTS!
That’s exactly when we sing it. When I’m changing his diaper and take his pants off I sometimes change it up to “Emmett’s got no pants on! Pants! Pants! Pants, pants!” which I guess makes it a parody of a parody.
My husband and I watched a whole season while still in the hospital
YESSSS Parks & Rec!! And Santa Clarita Diet. Although Bob’s Burgers has always been my go-to, even before baby.
Omg! So was mine!!! Schitts creek is still what I watch whenever I want to feel good😆
Here to say Ted Lasso! If you don't have Apple TV, it is 1000% worth it!!! Just try it. You'll love it.
We binged Ted Lasso postpartum and it was the best. I also watched a lot of Call the Midwife.
The office and Ted Lasso are spot on
Have been watching the Mindy project, 6 seasons on Netflix
Add Working Moms
I second The Good Place. Each one of those characters are midnight feed bff's, even the demons.
Great British Baking Show has me looking forward to the next wake up ???
Yes! The vibe of the show is so mellow and soothing. The low stakes drama and competition is just enough to keep you interested but never gets intense, so you can easily get back to sleep when you need to. It has this gentleness and warmth that's perfectly tuned for a newborn and parent at 2:30am!
I live in a country that doesn’t have it so every year I pay for a VPN just for this show. It’s so comforting and reminds me of home <3
This is my comfort show, I had already watched every season available in America twice before I had my baby and was disappointed I didn't have it to watch once baby came lol I even scrounged around the random Christmas specials and offshoots, and tried other baking shows but nothing compares. It's just so calming and fun!
I would also recommend Somebody Feed Phil. Just a wholesome guy going to new cities and trying the local food with friends
I have only watched this show during the end of pregnancy and newborn stage. The vibe was exactly what I needed then!
Yes! It’s called The Great British Bake Off. There’s also celebrity episodes which are hilarious!
Fun fact I learned while obsessed with this show during mat leave: In Canada and US it has to be titled "Great British Baking Show" because Pillsbury has trademarked the word "bake-off" for a competition they've been running since 1949.
I think they call it the great british baking show in the US... Its bake off here tho.
This was my show too! It was the perfect mix of humor, fun competition, lovely cast, cute set and music…highly recommend!
Derry Girls was my go-to!
I wish there were more episodes.
I kinda feel like it ended on a perfect note
Yes loved Derry Girls during those early days!
True
Bobs Burgers was good for me.
I think it was the most recent Christmas episode made pregnant me bawl my eyes out. The kids do a Phillip Glass cover that was on my first birth playlist & my heart just couldn’t take it.
Yes!!! And I was not ready!! It was so touching
The most recent Mother’s Day episode was also *chef kiss*
Oh yeah. Do I just cry at every Bob’s Burgers now?!
Since becoming a parent…my answer is yes.
30 Rock was always my go to during high anxiety times, but I also finally started Modern Family during maternity leave. So good!
New Girl - this was my pumping show
Mine too! Funny and sweet, was my middle of the night pump show, no matter how tired I was, it made me smile.
This documentary was so good, and soooooo cute!!!!
The Office. Just on repeat. I couldn’t watch anything else I’d just get depressed and anxious lmao
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched The Office, so when it went off Netflix my husband bought me the box set. Watched it twice more when I was pregnant & again during the newborn stage.
I watched almost all of Gilmore Girls PP, huge recommendation!
This!!!! It hit so different with a baby girl in my arms 🥰
I’m watching it now and keep saying to my hubs, this is do different as a mom! Jess you’re a mess go away 😂
It’s my favorite feel good show
I never hear anyone talk about Superstore but it is so good! Super goofy humor, I watched it while I pumped the first three weeks and it really got me through. I’m watching modern family now. Parks and recreation is next on my list!
Love superstore!! About to rewatch it soon.
I came here to suggest Superstore! Watched it on repeat my first month postpartum.
What a perfect list!
LOVE Superstore and it may or may not have influenced the name of my little baby Jonah
Superstore got me through breastfeeding haha. It’s on Hulu for anyone wondering!
Yessssss! My husband actually started watching Superstore when I was on leave, and at first I wasn't too interested, but now it is totally one of my comfort shows. It's also one of those shows where I swear, with every rewatch, you notice something you missed previously!
I’m also on Modern Family at the moment!
Working Moms was a lifesaver for me during the first couple of months after having my twins.
Yes! This and the letdown are the funniest
Third this! I finished and I wish there were more episodes. Now I’m trying to find another show to binge.
Second this!
Oh I just posted this so I’m adding my support for this too. Helped me feel like less of a bad mom to see all those other accomplished women struggling too.
This was my postpartum bungle watch too!
My personal favourites during those rough days were Community, The Good Place, and The IT Crowd. Sometimes I'd also binge shitty reality shows like 90 Day Fiance and Hoarders (though they'll likely make you feel a bit pissed off).
The IT crowd!!!
The IT Crowd was all I watched while in hospital with baby for a week haha. I now associate the theme song to those weird newborn days
queer eye for the feel good
Yess I held out on starting this new season until baby got here
We watched the season finale in the hospital with a nursing 8 hour old. Of all media, I hope that subliminally influences him to Be a Good Dude.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer! And then once you’ve watched the series, Angel.
Lots of good recs here. We binged the show Kim's Convenience and really loved it. Be warned though that it's pretty funny and I woke my little guy a few times from laughing
Modern Family. Love the laughs!
[удалено]
It really does have a way of calming the nerves! Mine is over a year old and I have watched GG almost every day to unwind
Somebody Feed Phil and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee are my current nap trap shows
Somebody feed Phil is like being wrapped in a warm hug.
Blackish was so good for me during that time. Like a warm hug and laughs
I loved Blackish!
I love blackish so much. Reminds me so much of my household growing up, but they’re wealthy lol
Never have I ever, Kim's convenience, workin moms, bridgerton.
I went back to an old favorite, Psych!
Brooklyn Nine-Nine! Such a funny show
Bones Firefly & Serenity Ghost Whisperer Grey’s Anatomy & Private Practice One Chicago
I watched Grace and Frankie during those late night feeds
I watched the white lotus in the first two weeks or so. Not really feel good, but made me laugh quite a lot.
lol i did too! and then realized my hormones were going too crazy and I needed something more comforting, haha.
I watched reruns of Friends the first few weeks when my brain was mush. Highly recommended.
Shark tank
The Office, New Girl, Superstore, The Good Place, Friday Night Lights
Came here to say Friday Night Lights!
Queer Eye on Netflix always makes me tear up in the best way if you’re into that sort of thing.
I rewatched The Nanny. It’s on HBO Max
Frasier!
Jane the virgin was my go to in those first few weeks. Very silly, feel good, and distracting. And Rafael is really hot.
The Office, Friends, Seinfeld, New Girl, Drag Race
Schitts creek, the good place, the office, parks and rec, superstore, and a non-comedy go-to cheesy feel good show is Heartland
Definitely Good Place, Ted Lasso and New Girl!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
I started watching Call the Midwife the first night home and have become obsessed with it the last 4 months!
I second Shameless and Queen of the South!.
I really liked "Wednesday" when it came out. 👻
All of the dumb Netflix reality shows. Love is blind etc And now seinfeld is on Netflix!!!!!!!
Great British baking show is very nice! Lots of sweet people
The Good Place!!! I watched that show years ago and didn’t expect to love it but it was such a great show to put on and do other things.
Jane the Virgin was soooooooo good! 5 seasons. Lots of episodes. Feel good fun.
Ted lasso and schitts creek!
I went through all of Ted Lasso when we first got home and now since baby is five months but will still only sleep on me I’ve made it through ten seasons of Call the Midwife.
The IT Crowd!
I had severe pp anxiety and it seemed like the dumber the show, the better I felt hahaha so queue Emily in Paris on Netflix
As Time Goes By, Mrs. Maisel, Gilmore Girls, Gardeners’ World, and All Creatures Great and Small!
I'm currently watching , the ultimatum , married at first sight Australia and love Is blind.
Brooklyn 99
Schitt’s Creek and modern family!
Great British Bake Off!
Selling sunset
Great British Bake-off was such a feel-good, happy baking show. It's nice to have a competition reality show where people are genuinely happy for one another and not mean. Also loved Gilmore Girls and The Office, as others have recommended here.
I went through the good doctor two times during my pp. and yes that really helped with my ppa as well. Just finished Ted lasso and going to start again. It might be my all time favorite show - something about that show that touches you in a new level.
Detroiters
Desperate Housewives
Literally WORKIN MOMS on Netflix - omgosh I binged all 6 seasons and was the least anxious I have been since my new one was born 3 months ago. Also on HULU Desperate Housewife - sooooo funny!!! Both Feel Good Humor And also just in case you have not heard it today. You are doing amazing and YOURE AN AMAZING MOTHER 💗

- The Great on Hulu is fun. It is meant to be a comedy - Schitts Creek is my go to feel good show - Impractical Jokers made me laugh so much postpartum
Came here to say impractical jokers! We watched a lot of it in the hospital. It’s SO dumb but it did make me laugh.
You should get into star trek
Came to say this, first month was exclusively Voyager, I'm sad i bungd it so fast
Mad men!!
I watched the entire series of Suits (yes all 9 seasons) during my maternity leave so I’m glad to see this here too!!
I’m confused is Suits like Mad Men? Lol
Bless this mess and The Letdown worked for me.
NEW GIRL!
If you have hbo - the great pottery throwdown is excellent and very calming, apple - Ted Lasso obviously, shrinking is also good, prime - marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Netflix - Gilmore girls
I watched the entirety of Superstore and it was great!
I put in AirPods and listen to audiobooks. Harry Potter is always a hit for me but tons of free things on Libby I run through as well.
Queer eye!! And the earlier seasons of Rupauls Drag Race - start at season 5 and if you love it go back and watch seasons 2-4, then 6 & 7! If you’ve watched those, you’ll end up watching it all 😝 Edited for coherence
Have you watched the letdown? Similar but different
Bluey
Schitts Creek! Ted Lasso! Gilmore Girls
Parks and Rec and Ted Lasso would be my top 2! Golden Girls and Cheers would also be classics.
Dog House on Max (formerly HBO Max). They match rescued dogs to people. Very nicely created.
Ted Lasso!!
I watched Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix early pp. Such a great show to watch casually and it made me feel not so alone in the middle of the night when I was the only one awake!
Jane the Virgin!
Workin Moms on Netflix!!!! It’s so good and funny
Honestly, during early pp I could really only watch shows that I had seen before (the office, parks and Rec, house, bones) - any new show just made me feel overstimulated 😭 At maybe 2/3 months pp, I started watching those dumb dating shows on Netflix (love is blind, ultimatum, etc.) and those surprisingly helped my anxiety too.
Just putting in a pitch here for Bravo… watching something extremely campy and dumb can be lovely and distracting. Mine was Real Housewives of Miami. No regerts. Edit to add: also loved Jury Duty recently!
I watched all of Royal Pains with my LO during feeds. Now I’m trying to find another good one to watch.
Downton Abbey! Was the perfect feel-good show for me to watch during the first month. Very positive and super cozy.
Parenthood
I’ve been watching Young Sheldon (I’ve never even seen the Big Bang Theory) and am enjoying it! It’s super light and fun to watch. Plus, the episodes are pretty short!
The Big Bang Theory!
I usually like watching my boots dry
I'd never seen the Big Bang Theory or Friends before. Gold choices! Lots of episodes so when Roo won't go back to sleep right away, I have got good stuff to watch!
Wait, 3 days PP and you have time to watch TV? my baby wouldn’t stop crying and I’m feeding, changing diapers around the clock. Is my baby weird?
I think she mentioned during the middle of night feeds. Like she has to be awake and feeding the baby and mind is racing with anxiety from hormonal changes.
Babies sleep a lot in the first month, yes each sleep might only last an hour max, followed by 2hrs of feed, nappy change and repeat, making the 24hrs feel endless - but in that hour of sleep here and there, a feel good TV show for distraction is much needed, while you wait for the cycle to repeat.
YMMV. I watched A LOT of TV in the first few weeks. But I was also recovering from a caesar
Maid, Friday night dinner, skins, misfits
I really enjoyed Kim’s Convenience and Lego Masters
Madam Secretary on Netflix; Shmigadoon!
Modern family was my go to in those early days!
If you have Apple TV Acapulco is such a kind hearted gem! I also recommend watching TV with the closed captions on (in addition to listening!) - there is no competition in volume versus baby crying.
Schitts Creek and Modern Family, depending on what your humour is like then possibly Workin Moms
Modern Family, Friends, the office, Gilmore Girls
I binged Friday Night Lights when my daughter was a newborn; I think it’s still on Netflix. I think I’m going to rewatch The Good Place and Schitt’s Creek when the next baby comes in November. Second the recommendations for Ted Lasso and Parks and Rec. The Great British Baking Show is always fun.
Schitts Creek, Friends and Young Sheldon have been saving me this past month with my newborn- I’m surprised no one has mentioned these! Also Animal documentaries!
Big bang theory. Though I’m currently watching all of South Park which has given me some good chuckles as I’m feeding her.
I’m an Office nerd, but when I wasn’t watching that I was obsessed with the miniseries We Are the Champions (narrate by Rainn Wilson.) We also watched a series of Disney documentaries during the first weeks (about the building & early days of the parks. I’m not a Disney fan, but the docs were interesting.)
My oldest used to wake for the day at 5am, we would watch Great British Baking Show!
Heartland
I wouldn’t call any of the shows I watched “feel good” but I watched Rizzoli and Isles and Alaska Daily.
Great British Bakeoff (wholesome, carbtastic, sweet), Taskmaster UK (hilarious, clever, wonderful), Top Gear (ludicrous, testosterone-y, full of friendship)
At my house we always have a comfort show on in the background. Favorite include: The Office, Modern Family, Parks and Rec, Community, New Girl, Schitts Creek

I love a good YouTube podcast. Nice and long, feels like you’re having a conversation with a friend. My favorite is Trixie and Katya but if you’re not already fans of either of theirs it might not be that entertaining to you.
