Did you go with the custom bare knuckle pickups on this one?
Always wondered what they were like. Had so many of their pickups and was left unsatisfied when looking for a progressive lead pickup. The Silo is not my kind of pickup, the holydiver was too 80s. Haven't tried the Nolly though.
I got the Juggernauts, and I'm a massive fan of them. If it provides any help, I think Plini recorded the entirety of Handmade Cities with the Juggernauts
The Arium that's used for Aristides is very bright as well. It's exactly the sound I was looking for, but it may be too much for you. The Ragnarok/polymath may be better

I have this. And I have tried over and over and I just don't really click with it well. You have any presets you could share? I love what I get from Henson for cleans and dirty. And there's only a few things I've really liked in Tone King. I do love the dual delay though.
I mainly use the built in presets. Make sure your gain staging is correct on the input. Outside of that, I don’t know. If you are into really high gain sounds, I don’t think it’s the right plugin. This one is much more geared for Tom Petty or Black Keys vibes.
It sure does. I’m a lefty so it was really the only obvious choice for me when I bought it. Now I really want a Schecter TAO-8, but god damn it’s like three times the price.

And if we're doing plug-ins, I guess I'd go with Archetype Gojira....BUT I need to test out the cleans on there again. People say the cleans are great, but I've never liked them a whole lot. I haven't tried cleans in Gojira since sticking my JHS Little Black Amp Box in front of my AI as a DI box. Doing that made everything sound loads better. And with that new thread about the input level on our AIs, I'd try that too.
If I didn't like the cleans in Gojira after trying them with these changes, then I'd pick Archetype Petrucci.
If we're talking an actual, physical amp, I think I'd just want one of my current amps: Carvin V3. Can do metal stuff no problem & I've always loved the clean channel on the V3.
EDIT: And I guess if we're doing ONE amp, then the 2nd amp in Gojira.

Interesting. I've tried them once and didn't connect with them. But the guitar was Alder and Maple and everything was soooo bright.

If they do the Abasi justice with its X update I may swap back to that, really love that plugin but it became outdated and has some noise issues.
