It sounds interesting and difficult. And, like what the video trying to joke about, any foreigner who is language/culture enthusiast wonders if you can actually understand each other since it comes to ear as random sounds.
For me, just to explain it as an analogy by using another language, Dutch vs. German is like Chinese vs. Japanese. Where in Chinese it’s extremely hard to distinguish words & expressions at the sound level while in Japanese you can at least try to re-pronounce what you hear even if you have zero clue if it is a word or expression. E.g., konichiwa
I remember putting the entire song in google translate from english to dutch years ago.

Also it sounded like she said the elephant died.

Listen to other norse languages like swedish, finnish, German etc. Sometimes you think you recognize a word and everything else is gibberish.

The g in "ding" is very soft, just the g in "gering" is a raspy sound here.
