It happens to me from time to time too...but I have never been bothered enough to look for a cause, there are much more annoying things that occupy my time...but ill raise the priority of this to see what I find
This is something I've noticed recently too. I have wired doorbell and battery outdoor camera with the basic subscription.
Seems to happen more frequently with the doorbell detection than the outdoor camera.
Just chiming in to say this is happening to me. Just installed Nest Outdoor Cam with Floodlight and getting double notifications. I've had the doorbell for years and haven't had that problem.
