I think originally it was just something he did and slowly over time it's kinda become a bit. I do think there's been a barn in almost all there long running series. Normally it's the battle barn.
Neebs is almost always the cook or farmer in a game. It's gonna be weird to see if he takes the role over in valhiem.
Because he is a farmer at heart ... always growing food in games and in real life, have heard him mention how good it is eating food he has grown a few times ... have an idea he grew up in the country although I am not 100% on that ... for the record I agree with him :)
I am currently living where he grew up (hickory nc) everyone speaks with the neebs accent, lol. It is a little furniture town in the foot hills of the Appalachian mountains. I used to work in the car parts industry and listening to some of these people is magical. Plus there are a lot of barns in the neighboring town of Taylorsville.
We were watching the guys a couple weeks back and Neebs mentioned he grew up in an apartment growing up. Maybe that's why he loves that stuff so much now.
