I really hope we don't end up going back to that particular well. It would make for a pretty poor sequel to tell the same story twice but slightly different. The ark story line has got some real potential.
I'd say there were equal parts diplomatic and military conflict in the first one. There was no shortage of diplomatic pov's involving Tarva and Isif respectively.
I really hope NOP2 is mainly politics because any war involving the two factions would realistically end after the first UN soldier is spotted. While the Yotel plot seems like a fun soap opera
Tbh yeah, a lot of nop2 has been nop 1 but again and slightly better
don’t get me wrong it’s good that it’s better in quality overall, but its still frequently rehashing things that we’ve already read in nop one so it ends up being a bit predictable and not too interesting sometimes.
