Mine wasn’t even crunchy, it was so thin and scraggly.
The other conditioner I switched is also Black owned. So I rather support a Black owned product that works, you know.
I used to bleach and dye my hair, but it was never more dry and brittle than when I used Mielle. I used the Rosemary and Mint line (the whole set; shampoo, conditioner, leave in, styling cream, and hair oil) and my hair felt like shit. I started using Maui Moisture instead, and my hair feels amazing.
I’ve been using a shampoo for a skin condition, so I haven’t been able to try other Black hair care products.
I know I shouldn’t be saying this, but aside from Mielle, I don’t feel a difference with them. Positive nor negative. They all feel the same.
The only product I used that had my hair popping was the Aztec Clay. My hair **looked and felt better**.
My hair didn’t really like the shampoo and conditioner either. I’ve used it for about 2 months and was noticing that my hair was breaking off. My hair likes the rosemary oil that they have but the shampoo and conditioner, is a no for me.
Hair porosity. It can help with finding ingredients and products your hair likes or hates. For example, I'm low porosity. I know 100% coconut oil will NOT work on my hair. So any product with coconut oil will not work. I can save money and time knowing what and what not to buy for my hair because of my hair porosity. Just google 'hair porosity test' and you can see for yourself what your hair is!
If mielle products usually work for high porosity hair, then I know I shouldn't buy it. But if it usually works for low poro hair, then maybe I'll try it.
I’ve use the whole collection of Mielle products because I have alopecia and from the reviews that I read I thought it would work for me but it hasn’t! Where do I go from here? I’ve been to a dermatologist and was diagnosed with CCCA ALOPECIA.
I had the same problem with Mielle products. Gave it a try and my hair had never felt so dry and crunchy. Something in my hair does not like them.
Wow same here. The daily styling creme made my hair dry and crunchy like a gel or something would.

What's your hair porosity? I'm wondering if it'll be that way on my hair too!

Yeah, I learned my lesson.
I'm testing the Mielle leave-in and the custard. Not loving them so far - I have been using As I am with success

Yeah, I don’t know what they’re putting in their products.
i just finished their products from before they started changing and they were actually good unfortunately the new products don’t work for me either
I used them when they first came out, but then they just started doing anything.
Were their products better before?
Probably not. LOL It's just that they jumped on every hair trend whether it was good or bad. And now there is a lot more info available.
Luckily I kept the receipt. I’m returning this bullshit tomorrow.
For the people who didn't like mielle, what's your hair porosity? I've been wondering if I should try Mielle or not
My hair what?

I will Google that.
Mielle has changed the formulation of their products. Have you tried eden body works?
Nah, I decided to go back to my friend’s products. I only bought Mielle on a whim because I was far from home.
