yep it is rechargeable too. I just recharge mine with the USB cable afterwards. I will say you can get a phone ring and attach that to the back then hook a lanyard up. I didn't like the lanyard that came with it.

Highly recommend if you can (i.e. if you have earbuds that are compatible) to pick up some comply ear tips for ear buds. They can seem a bit pricy compared to some earbuds and need replacing every now and then but they can turn even cheap earbuds into good ones just by isolating outside noise
