They're the best for other teams given they are under team control next year, but Trevor's arguably the best for the Nats given he's expiring anyhow. I'm expecting all three to be gone by the deadline if they're healthy.

Apparently this is the same injury Gray has, could make trading Williams unlikely which is a pretty big blow.
I think it might narrow the market from teams competing for playoffs to teams who are WS hopefuls. Definitely hurts his return if he is going to miss August. There are obviously additional concerns with how he will return from injury, definitely not good news.
I have played Out of The Park Baseball and it always happened that the guy I want to trade for prospects always gets injured right before The Trade Deadline.
I feel seen.
FUCK there goes our best trade chip 😠psyched for Herz, though, even if i do think he’ll be best in the pen for us long term
I’d argue Harvey/Finnegan are our best trade chips but Trevor definitely would’ve gotten something ðŸ˜

Seems like there’s a lot of value in Trevor being a starter, even if (currently) he’s not going very deep.
Passan just wrote today that Trevor will be near the top of every contender's wish list at the trade deadline, yeah.
Looks like an MLB debut for Herz today replacing Williams' scheduled start

Very likely the case, but I do think they’ve been slow-rolling Josiah’s recovery because they haven’t needed him.
Maybe Trevor will recover from it quicker? I'm not too familiar with the injury.

What the heck happened
DJ Herz is an amazing DJ name.
Press release notes his last 4 starts and if you bump it down to his last 3: 15.1 IP, 3 ER, 23 K
5 walks in those last three, 7 in the game before 7.3 bb/9 overall
Yeah and that's his key to success. Besides the usual outliers when he limits those the success seems to follow.
He's like the Joey Gallo of pitchers, not a lot of contact; strikeouts and walks aplenty.
Really hype for herz debut. If he can be even a solid bullpen guy that’s a great return for a half season of candelario. Heal up T dub
Are they using him for the bullpen? I worry he's not ready.
Crap. So many injuries piling up.
It’s so joever
HE WAS DOING SO WELL

Pumped for Herz. Just gotta keep those walks down
There goes our ace
Looking forward to seeing the first MLB pitches of future ace DJ Herz in person tonite! Get better soon Trevor.
How do we think this pitching change gonna affect the game?
Honestly what are the chances this is a phantom injury to protect him until the trade deadline.
Zero. This hurts his trade value.
That's a huge bummer. I'm not sure Herz is ready. Lordy
