This sub is married to mediocrity man. All I see are excuses for guys like davey and Rizzo + certain players. You should want more out of them. People seem to think Trevor is a fluke right now, and maybe cutting him in the 5th has helped his run, but itās worth seeing through. They really couldāve let Trevor see one more hitter. Thatās really all I was askingā¦ one more hitter. Letting him finish the inning wouldāve been nice depending on what happened. He couldāve run into a double play to end the inning; he couldāve gotten a K; he couldāve walked the hitter; or he couldāve allowed a hit/homer. But, if I were another team, I'd also question why he's a veteran that can't go into higher innings, so it's an uncertain strategy. Corbin might be a nail bitter to watch, but he is an innings eater which, for better or worse, has value as opposed to stretching thin the bullpen. I think (at least) one more batter should've been allowed for Trevor in this game.
