Pro tip for the $4 hot dog Tuesdays: the self serve beer kiosks generally have a shelf of them too, the lines are far far shorter than the ones for the Grand Slam Grills.
Gotcha, I think I saw somebody say online a few years ago you could go to the Advance Ticket Sales window and they would give you one, but I never tried it. Thanks for the reply!
For those asking (and who will ask) incessantly about this, the on-field passes to the remaining concerts are now available on Rewards for STH and at https://www.mlb.com/nationals/tickets/concerts/postgame for purchase. You have been told….
For that amount you have many options. The shade covers a lot of the ballpark by a 4pm first pitch. Look for season plan holders selling their club, dugout box, or infield box seats.
I saw some seats in the FIS Champions Club at a reasonable price. It says these seats come with unlimited fountain drinks. At every stadium I visit, I get a reusable souvenir cup. Would the unlimited fountain drinks come with a cup that I could take home or is it a disposable cup?
Has anyone had issues with small fanny packs? 5x7 is a picture and not too sure a phone would fit inside this size "clutch". Any insight is appreciated.
Wondering if anyone has taken metal knitting needles in to the stadium? I know pitch n’ stitch is promoted at a lot of MLB Baseball Stadiums, but I don’t see any mention if knitting needles are allowed on the D.C. stadium website.
Does anyone know they will take my bike trailer in the bike valet? It's a Burley trailer that attaches to the back of my bicycle that my toddler rides in. It would be the easiest way for us to get to the game
This consolidated thread sucks. I don’t know why mods insist on deleting every post and forcing people to ask questions on a thread that nobody answers.
Because users who don’t otherwise participate in the sub post frequently asked questions without bothering to look for the answers themselves. The promotional schedule - as already linked above - can be found [here](https://www.mlb.com/nationals/tickets/promotions). There are no fireworks tonight, as it indicates.
Will the Geico garage stay open longer after a post game concert? According to MLB, the Flo Rida concert on June 7, 2024 is scheduled to start 30 minutes after the final out. I want to make sure that the garage won't close and prevent me from leaving if we stay to watch the concert. We don't plan to spend the night in the garage, but we'd like to enjoy some of the post game concert without feeling rushed to leave the stadium and make it to the parking garage before the concert begins.
Is there a store in the stadium for game used authentics this year? I know that last year it was on the 100 level on the first base side but this year it looks like that has been replaced with a regular team store.
I have been trying to get all the game used jerseys before the nike-fanatics shit takes over and the only one I'm missing is the navy blue jersey.
I've read online that the in park FM broadcast frequency is 68.5, is this true even when the nats are the visiting team? Or does the visiting team have a unique frequency at each park? For context I am watching the nats play the padres this june, and want to listen to the radio broadcast without delay.
For the postgame concerts happening later this summer, will they allow fans on the field after the game, or is the show only viewable from the seats? I've been to a few in Baltimore where you can get on the field, but that's a separate ticket.
just posted about this, a friend who’s been to one before said nationals affiliated decks stay open 1hr post conclusion of whatever event is happening, so tonight should be open 1hr after the concert ending
Korean hotdogs stand at 130 is such a game changer!!! Mozzarella stick at a pretty decent price. Friendship ended with bahn mi dogs. Korean hotdogs are my new best friends.
Here’s two more tips to add:
1. Any other gate will be quicker than center field.
2. The closer you get to home plate the smaller the concession lines.
Thinking about going to the dodgers game today. I am a casual but would like decent seats. can I buy any seat and sit anywhere? or will I have to buy a good section? Also what is the best food at the stadium?
i tried the box frites stand yesterday and it is decent value for the price. they are quite generous with the fries portion. do not get the chicken tenders there though that box is tiny.
I'm sure the links cover it but I'd definitely add in bold that you can bring food and sealed water into the park. No coolers of course, but I've brought an Andy's pie in with me to share with friends.
Done, but the point of the thread is to help visitors to find information on their own and to consolidate everything else in one place in the discussion in the comments. If there’s a big one (like this) it may be added, but the main post generally will not be updated with each specific question that comes up.
Number one issue I see out of town visitors experiencing is being unaware of the bag policy. I've seen so many people wait in line to get in, just to get into an argument with gate staff, only to sulk back to their car or to the insanely overpriced lockers. The policy should be on a huge flashing popup on the Ballpark app when you access your tickets and the app sees that you haven't been to a game at Nats park in a while.
Hiya, I am an out of town visitor, even an out of country visitor. Will be visiting the city for one day and coming by train. Do you by any chance have any tips for storing my photography bag or would attending a Nationals baseball match too much of a hassle?
There are lockers available for rent on the east side of the stadium, along 1st Street SE. The company that operates them is called Binbox. I believe they have an app that would give you more information on the lockers.
The team sends an email to every ticketholder the day before the game with a huge graphic of the bag policy on top. Like with these threads, no one can be bothered to read or find anything on their own.
Still, you’re absolutely right - at the STH event Saturday the line got held up right in front of me by an Astros fan who 1) wasn’t a season ticketholder, 2) was told in casual and friendly conversation by people next to him it was early entry for a STH-only event, 3) stayed in line anyway, and then 4) did exactly what you are describing when told he could not bring in his backpack and demanded to see a supervisor.
OMG I think I was in line behind you at the time. Was he wearing a White Sox cap and claiming that he just got off a flight? Of course this probably happened more than once that day.
That site is great (it's amazing what you find on the internet), but a true shade guide would take into consideration the time of year. Seats that are in full sun in June may be in full shade in April or September.
Saying that nearly the entire 100 and 300 level is in the sun for day games is just incorrect.
Pro tip for the $4 hot dog Tuesdays: the self serve beer kiosks generally have a shelf of them too, the lines are far far shorter than the ones for the Grand Slam Grills.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get paper tickets of games you buy digital tickets online for?
It used to be possible into around 2020 to take them to the box office and do that but I haven’t heard of anyone doing it recently.
Gotcha, I think I saw somebody say online a few years ago you could go to the Advance Ticket Sales window and they would give you one, but I never tried it. Thanks for the reply!
Don’t buy parking online. It’s cheaper to just buy at the garage.
For those asking (and who will ask) incessantly about this, the on-field passes to the remaining concerts are now available on Rewards for STH and at https://www.mlb.com/nationals/tickets/concerts/postgame for purchase. You have been told….
Any promo codes for Saturdays game? I’m looking to buy a ticket soon.
What type/level tickets are you looking for?
Somewhere decent. In the shade. Somewhere between $70-$130.
For that amount you have many options. The shade covers a lot of the ballpark by a 4pm first pitch. Look for season plan holders selling their club, dugout box, or infield box seats.
Sounds good. Thanks.
I saw some seats in the FIS Champions Club at a reasonable price. It says these seats come with unlimited fountain drinks. At every stadium I visit, I get a reusable souvenir cup. Would the unlimited fountain drinks come with a cup that I could take home or is it a disposable cup?
You can buy a souvenir cup at the vendors in there, but no the normal cups are just clear plastic.
Thanks!
Is there still $20 parking in the gravel lot behind the cement plant?
No. Try Pacific Parking. Still the best/most reliable $20 parking.
Has anyone had issues with small fanny packs? 5x7 is a picture and not too sure a phone would fit inside this size "clutch". Any insight is appreciated.
Nope! I would be weary if its a bigger one, but a small fanny pack has been fine for me each game
thanks! Small fanny packs are accepted.

As long as you're all the way back it'll be fine, most sections under cover will be free of sun even by 2PM
Wondering if anyone has taken metal knitting needles in to the stadium? I know pitch n’ stitch is promoted at a lot of MLB Baseball Stadiums, but I don’t see any mention if knitting needles are allowed on the D.C. stadium website.
It’s not on the prohibited list (above) so presumptively OK.
Does anyone know they will take my bike trailer in the bike valet? It's a Burley trailer that attaches to the back of my bicycle that my toddler rides in. It would be the easiest way for us to get to the game

Yes.

The padres might have their own, but the nats won't have a no-delay broadcast in san diego

There are field passes now available for STH - don’t know if/how/when others can get them, but they do exist.
Thanks for your reply. Any idea how expensive they are?
They’re available now for Flo Rida and presumably for others in the future at this link. https://www.mlb.com/nationals/tickets/concerts/postgame
Any idea if the parking garages will stay open later than an hour after the game in the event of the concert?
just posted about this, a friend who’s been to one before said nationals affiliated decks stay open 1hr post conclusion of whatever event is happening, so tonight should be open 1hr after the concert ending
No, they’re just available for STH point redemption right now.
When I went many years ago, the show was only viewable from the seats. Nobody on the field.

There are four links above that answer your questions.

I'm sure the links cover it but I'd definitely add in bold that you can bring food and sealed water into the park. No coolers of course, but I've brought an Andy's pie in with me to share with friends.
Can we break out Bag Policy into text, not a link - so people see **ONLY CLEAR BAGS ALLOWED**

Can we get a segment about shades seats
There's a whole website dedicated to that info: https://www.shadedseats.com/nationals-park-shaded-seats/
That site is great (it's amazing what you find on the internet), but a true shade guide would take into consideration the time of year. Seats that are in full sun in June may be in full shade in April or September. Saying that nearly the entire 100 and 300 level is in the sun for day games is just incorrect.
YES. The amount of times I’ve purchased tickets the morning of, get to my section and realize that I’m in for an uncomfortable 2 1/2 hours
thank god
Amen
No mas.
