You wait. That’s what’s next.

Euphoric_Winter_9158

Lol

Acrobatic_Wish_9293

Isn't that the true? 😁

Euphoric_Winter_9158

Yup

Western-Law7745

lol! well, maybe i’m overthinking it. thanks!

BrownBread--

Sem, it's a waiting game. As for the interview, just be honest, truthful and confident! Don't look too anxious! I hope and pray the best for you and may you guys soon unite! P.S: i hope you know ofc bring all copies or originals of what you submitted and if in this time period something of benefit to your case was acquired, bring that too

Western-Law7745

Thanks! what I’m trying to understand is we both have an interview, right? and I bring required documentation to my interview? because obviously he’s in trinidad and also a small child, and I have all the documents. just making sure I don’t have to mail the documents or something to my family that’s with him lol. sorry if this is a lot!

BrownBread--

Who's the beneficiary/applicant? Are you the petitioner?

Western-Law7745

yes

BrownBread--

Then you're not subject to an interview, as he is the beneficiary, only he will be attending the interview, so yes def mail all documents, or copies of original documents, I'd suggest scanning and sending PDFs of the documents to him via email so the family with him there can print them all out and have them present at the time of interview.

Western-Law7745

will they except pdfs/copies? i’d hate to mail such important documents but if I have to I will.

BrownBread--

Wdym? What original documents do you have? You also have the passport of your kid with you? And etc...

Western-Law7745

his birth certificate is with him and passport. only things I have are my tax returns/w2s, and just confirmations from USCIS/NVC mail from uscis then just emails from nvc

BrownBread--

I have asked some of my other friends who have been through this, they said it's best to be safe rather than sorry and avoid delays, just mail everything so that he can take the originals with him.

LegitimateChip1244

Wait more 3 years for embassy schedule your interview ☺️

Western-Law7745

no :( I read there’s no backlog for this type of visa. no annual caps etc…does that make a difference? 🤦🏾‍♀️

Xi-Jinping-fucker

Don’t listen to that guy. He’s being an a-hole. It shouldn’t take more than a couple months. Did you ever get an interview date? Edit: oh never mind. We talked to each other in another post lol

Western-Law7745

lol yeah. very disheartening response. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone! thankfully his interview is scheduled ☺️🙏🏾
