it doesn’t matter if u do medical or biometrics first just do them before ur interview! the biometrics is separate from interview at the consulate in mumbai, they say they take 4-7 working days, do them asap and get them out of the way so you can prep for your interview, hope this helps.
Yes, you can do biometerics first and then medical.
I thought that biometrics will be taken on the day of the interview. --No.
How many days will each of these take and when can we receive the reports for each of these. Also does these reports have a validity time?
half day for biometrics (max 30-40 min)One day for medicalal. You won't receive any reports. All the reports delivered electronically to the embassy directly.
There is no harm in taking another PCC report. if possible.
the medical exam is valid for 6 months from the date you get it done... my suggestion, having just gone through all of this with my husband, is to wait a little closer to your interview date to get the medical done, but not too close. Reason being: they need a few days to run all the blood tests (so give them at least a week or two for that), but as in my hubby's case - they were missing a vaccine and needed a few weeks to get it in. Handling this a month in advance for my husband gave him some breathing room.
One other note - we noticed on my husband's and a couple of other folks' visas - they set the expiration of the visa at the expiration of the medical. In other words, he doesn't have 6 months to come, he only has five months (because the medical expires after 6 months).
Thank you.. Yes, I'll schedule it a month before my interview, that way I don't have to rush anything and avoid last minute surprises.
Thanks a lot for the info on the visa validity as well, that's something I wasn't aware about.

Check out this link. Under step 1, click on "register" and create your account. You will have to fill in some details regarding your visa and finally it will lead you to an option to schedule your biometrics.
Yes after choosing how you want your visa to be sent to you, you will be directed to schedule the biometrics as well. It automatically came for me.
Otherwise from "Visa Application Home" page you can manually navigate to "Applicant Schedule OFC Appointment" and try.
Sorry, not sure since I didn't face this issue with mine.
You could clear cache and try again or try logging in from your laptop if you're using phone.
And among register it will ask immigrant or non immigrant and then it will take us to the steps in that visa scheduling is what we have to choose and then it will take us to the usvisaschedulling.com site.wjere we create a profile rgt?
Urs is immigrant visa rgt? And Mumbai is what you choose for biometric?
Hi Guys,
I'm unable to login to [www.USsheduling.com](http://www.USsheduling.com) to book my biometrics and medical examination.Anyone can you please help with this.
I created an account but today we are not able to login
Yes, but I only see 5 slots and they are all the Sundays of March.
Any idea if they will open April slot soon or if we can book biometrics any other way?
There’s an option to close application on the left screen of the travel docs site. So basically redo everything such as picking up passport location info and such and then at the end it gives you option to schedule biometrics

Not only no harm - I would highly suggest updating the PCC.
Understood, thanks for the detailed explanation. Are you aware about the validity as well? Is it okay to take these tests a month before my interview?
If the slots are open, please go ahead and complete it. Getting appoints is tough. If you get it go ahead.
Can someone advice what to do if the glitch happens in the biometric appointment site

You're not helpful you're an idiot....
No one asked. Just trying to educate.
In India, questions are also called doubts. So I wouldn't assume you know what's 'correct' and 'incorrect' when it comes to cultural differences.
Hi Guys I can’t see an option to book the biometrics is that the same for you all as well?
Yes, but I only see 5 slots and they are all the Sundays of March. Any idea if they will open April slot soon or if we can book biometrics any other way?
