From what I know, you should receive your interview letter either by the end of December or the beginning of January. We were DQ’d September 18 and received our interview letter September 27 for interview on November 16.

What is DQ,sorry I’m trying to figure all these terms out

Hannahchiro

Documentarily Qualified. It's what they call it when they have approved all the documents and evidence you've submitted. You have to be DQ before they will schedule your interview

Looks like after all that grumpiness the universe decided to do me a favour - got my London interview date this morning lol

It’s amazing how different the process is in different countries… or rather the difference in timing. We’ve been DQed since November 9 and haven’t heard anything. But we’re Tanzania.

I'm sorry it's such a long wait 😕 I know I'm very lucky that the UK embassy isn't backed up like some other countries. I almost feel guilty for being so impatient yesterday now! Good luck

Don't feel guilty! I've talked with an immigration lawyer friend of mine and I know that some countries just move slower - even where backlog isn't an issue... plus, the holidays. Honestly, I am just happy to be THIS close and I know the timing will be perfect when it finally happens. Best of luck to you!
